Depends on what you wana ride.

For me, i prefer to be different. therefore i hunted n bought myself an SV4

 

different bikes have different 'character', most importantly is to get something that you want. It aint worth listening to advice on how good a bike is and purchasing it if you do not like the look or handling of it.

depends on the design u wan, gsr400 is underseat exhaust, special n diff from super4

in terms of engine spec both gsr and super 4 the same

rear suspension of gsr is mono shock but super 4 u all shud know ler..

i prefer gsr though ..

the only bad point i find is tat the value drops more than s4

i think the thread is about sport bike and naked bike..

 

on general, sport bike are made for better aerodynamics.. if u go fast (NSHW, for example) it's more comfortable for rider, compared to naked bike, which rider has to withstand the windblast.

but for city riding (stop and go traffic) sportbike tends to heat up more than naked bike (engine trapped in fairing)..

 

just basic general concept.. correct me if i'm wrong guys..

for eg. compare gsr and s4 both bought at same price..

if u sell back to bike shop ... the money u get back is always lesser

the demand for gsr not as high as s4 .. depreciates more ?

gsr400 looks crap with a box and the compartment is TINY compared to s4, so for those who likes to have a lil storage space, get a s4.

bro.. imho.. if maintenance cost is even bugging u a lil in ur consideration factor.. i would advice u to steer clear of 2A sports.. given the age of them.. u nvr when she gonna give u a surprise by breakin down n costing a bomb..

 

i had my fair share of that wif my previous cbr.. so tink bout it.. juz my cent worth..

all depends on the rider, i how good the bike is, but the rider did not take care of it.. no use.. and how u do up the bike if the rider have no guts to try, no point also.So, the moral of the story is all depends on the rider itself.

anyway, between sportsbike n naked bike, sportsbike give a better handling cos its aerodynamic. naked bike will suffer from windblast but the torque of a naked bike is definitely better than sportsbike cos naked bikes r normally street bike. n the riding posture is more relax.

 

considering this point, the sportsbikes available for class 2A are mostly old bikes. naked bikes still got new bikes.

honda have a better resale valve compare to suzuki, yamaha n so on... cos its a honda. for now, S4 do have a better resale valve compared to GSR. but wait, GSR is getting popular now. if there r more GSR in about 2 to 3 years time, mayb the resale value is better? who knows rite?? its the demand that judges the valve.
