Think ur question shud be asking the diff between FZ6S and FZ6S2 bah... think in the previous pages of this thread one of our bro posted the diff between these 2 models. and don be surprise they tell u that u are getting the 08model but its actually FZ6S cos the bike itself is manufactured in 2008. so wat u shud get clear is whether u are getting a FZ6S or FZ6S2. the price diff between these 2 bikes are abt 2k diff. where u buying ur bike from? wt was their offer price?

if BP offer 14.5k, might as well go ASP.. if i'm not wrong they were offering 14.5k too.. and it comes with IU installation + other stuff.

alright!!! feels darn gd!! just collected my fav FZ6S today!! hahaha... just rode home from dempsey.. such a familiar feeling while i was riding.. been missing this feeling for so long!! so excited! but still got 970km of running in to go.. hehe.. shall catch u guys at meet ups soon!! ;-)

yup yup, running in 1000km, today shld be able to hit 100+ in total liao... now maintaining below 5k rpm. urs S1 or S2? i saw a silver S1 when i collected mine (black), num plate FBD9xxxx wonder if it's urs?? haha

got my bike for 10days le. already hit near 500km already. cant wait to hit 1000km den change EO den WHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! no more slow coach! WHAHAHAHA!

Nope mine is S1 black i collected the bike in the morning. But running in thought is 3000km????

i completed my run in at 3000km with mineral oils with interval oil change at first 500km, 1500kn and 3000km.oil filter changed every oil change...can feel the engine crank with less effort.

yes u are right S1 meter is most commonly referred to as the Baby-G meter.

wow! so we somehow like collected together! i collected and left ard 12noon. haha..

according to the manual running in is first 1600km, 1st 1000km shld not go beyond 7000rpm, 1000km - 1600km shld not cross 8400rpm. but that's the manual la..

for me now i maintain below 5krpm, once in a while bring up to 6krpm for the 1st 500km, next 500km i'll do short burst of 7krpm once in awhile. then oil change at 1kkm. shld be using the free 1st servicing at hong leong. anyone use that b4?? what oil would be reccommended? mineral or semi syn?

i always go to unique for servicing, n few days bc asked d mechanic abt running-in procedures, he said usually ppl chg to mineral for d 1st 500km n 1000km dn aftr dat fully syntetic oils..

for oil filters, i usually chg alternately for my current n previous bike.. for example, diz mth i chg EO only n d coming mth i chg EO plus oil filter.. i dunoe if its ok wit fz6.. any1 care to share? newbie for class 2 bikes here.

Hi bro, just want to check if any of you all Fazer 6 riders bought the 09 metallic orange color recently? i refer to hong leong webpage only 3 colors to choose from damn boring for 09 colors. Anyone knows if they have got 09 model comes in factory Red?

 

Or those that bought fz6 recently care to share what color u get to choose from and what color finally decided upon? Need some inspiration before i go bike shop purchase my bike next month.

usually we change EO at 5000km...

then at 10,000km, it's change EO + oil filter + check spark plug...

then at 15,000km, it's change EO...

then at 20,000km, it's change EO + oil filter + spark plug...

no bro... ABS is an option... so better check with the shop if the bike u going to buy got ABS or not... better to check to be safe...
