And who got some other kindly person to pay for their bike?

 

Who expects their parents to pay for their bikes, and who proudly refuse the help to own something earned by sweat and blood, lets see just how the crowd is split.

But to be a good rider, you have to change with your environment,and adjust yourself to its rhythm.

I got a friend uses his father retirement fund to buy a 24k bike....Good son...Kudos to him....

Every month $400 petrol and $400 installments.....His 65 years old father still cant get a job.....

My 1st bike my bro add some money coz I showed him my confidence in passing the test once coz we had an agreement that if I failed I have to abandon all hope of taking it the 2nd time coz family rules NO BIKES for the BOYS. After so much begging that I got the license and the bike.

 

2nd bike on my own money.

 

3rd bike....still saving :p

I also have an ex classmate whose father sold their 4rm flat

to refinance a 3 rm flat so he can buy a harley :)

 

I also think this is going to turn into a self justification thread.

 

There r 2 thread in car forum. One is for who own what car.

The other is for who own what car, but must not be parents buy one :lol:

dad sponsored bike - 1.3k

roadtax,season parking,fuel,2t,servicing,insurance,transfer fees -my own -2k and counting.

 

so, kinda like split half. but recently i just quit my job. so using savings to survive.
