To ride on the road, You need skills,Stamina, or even luck.

But to be a good rider, you have to change with your environment,and adjust yourself to its rhythm.

Cultivate the confidence to face the different situations. Don't let yourself to be subdued by the environment :thumb:

Rat bike - A motorcycle not necessarily kept in pristine condition, often painted matt black. Minimal maintenance and mismatched parts often used.

my dad paid for my licence and he gave me his old vespa after i got my licence. To me, that vespa meant more than any other bikes in the world. Needless to say, the vespa is still with me though i hardly use it anymore. But i sure dont encourage my son to take up riding. Maybe i dont want him to get hurt.

wonder how people can ask other people to help finance their bike.

be it parents or siblings.

if cannot afford, too bad la. work harder, wait longer. at least you dont susahkan orang lain (trouble other people).. only yourself.

the satisfaction of earning something which was obtained by you and you alone can't beat anything else..

sorry ah bros if i offended anyone.

why drink and drive when you can smoke and fly..

I've paid everything from my own pocket money; 2B and 2A license plus my first bike. Would've have been easier to get parents to pay for it (my parents are alright with motorbikes) but It's always much more rewarding to get it with your hard-earned, cold hard cash. You don't have that sense that you're owing anything to anybody.

Current Rides:

FEB 07 -> NOV 08 [CBR 150]

AUG 08 -> AUG 12 [XJR400]

AUG 12 -> ??? [DUCATI MONSTER 696]

well said, same as me the satisfaction of enjoying a ride that you paid with your blood,sweat and tears:thumb:

bike bought with my hard earned cash..the satisfaction is there...knowing my bike is a reward to myself fer working so hard..:cheers:

i can never even think of asking my parents to pay fer my bills...not to mention bikes..time fer them to enjoy their own money and spend on themselves after tightening their belts during our growin up phase..

but i do have acquaintances who get their parents to pay fer their bikes even though they are working..am not gonna judge them coz their actions speak fer themselves..

what that doesn't kills u, makes u stronger!!
