hi all s4ers.

i have been pumping malaysia petrol since after my first bike. now riding a s4 and here's my review on all. my reviews is coupled with my frens who rode s4, r6, and gsx600 who concurred with it. as such, we only pump the most ex and highest grade of each company.

shell: V-power, the last thing u want to try. power is so-so, but the millage really rip off

esso: power no diff from v-power, mileage only slightly better than v-power

petrolnas: althought i am very skeptical abt it at first. but hey! power is the best, and millage is good too. much better than V-power. price also the same as esso F1 (1.920rm)

Malaysian Shell V-Power - Ok. Feels like SG Shell 95. But I like the colour blue!

Malaysian Shell Economy - Great mileage man! Got 423km before reserve on my S4 with this shite.

Never really tried the other brands cos they're out of the way. Maybe I'll try Caltex next, since it's right before the Customs departure.

But hey, whichever petrol you get, you only pay half of what you're forking out in SG!

how bout malaysia's mobil f1?

I'm using that bro...so far its the best for me. Mileage 350km b4 hit reserve :thumb:

Some biker once said " If u haven't been to Gerik, U haven't been touring in Malaysia".

petrol wise somehow depends on individual riding style... caltex does really have a better mileage...

Caltex best !!:thumb: near custom... fast and good mileage :thumb:

Acceleration power is not important than a good perfect braking system to prevent an accident.

1st link haf.. but a bit far lah.. abt 4-5km aft the customs... it's near the larkin fire station... exit customs make a u-turn, when u reavh Y junction aft shell follow left, go straight until u reach traffic lite, turn right there go straight until u reach T junction. Turn left n go straight n turn left aft the fire station. 1 mor left n then a right aft that u haf a petronas... I to me petronas is the best tts y i don mind the extra km...
