Hi,

I just made a claim for total loss to theft. My insurance quotes seem to have jumped 60%.

For all those wondering, when they (NTUC in my case) agents say;

"The policy will pay out market value at time of loss"

they really mean;

"The policy will pay out market value at time of loss- NOT"

you'll likely get 50% or less than market value if you are lucky, and what they first offer will not even be what the claim history they use to calculate your new extra heavy premium!

In my case they offer $3,000 and my claim history now shows = $3,001-$5,000

All,

Got this quote:

NTUC:

Bike: 1000cc touring bike

Fire, Theft & Third Party = $686.47

Bike "market value actual": $8,000

Age: 40

NCD: 0%

can anyone of about that age comment on what they are paying for a similar bike?

Thanks

Edouard

Hi Bros,

I need to add 2 subriders to my ntuc policy. The front like lady said cannot. Must buy another new policy for the second subrider :giddy:

Any insurance company allow 2 subrider maybe higher premium abit ok, but not entire new policy.

thanks.

Hey guys, how much is it to add the subrider? Assuming the subrider is of the same age and experience as the owner.

hello guys... sorry to ask a stupid question, as im quite new here.

I just bought my Yamaha X-1R from 1st owner and i have changed the ownership and signed the new insurance from AXA?

when coming to 1 year later, i suppose to renew my insurance.

I would like to know, any offense if i ride without the insurance?

In my thinking, at the moment i signed an insurance cos the changing of ownership require to do so.

Could you please explain about this matter?

Thanks in advance.

it should increase as his age has touched the mark.

as his age increases , his rate of reaction decreases too

so thats why the increase i guess.

As said by other guys, it is an offence. Please do not do this kinda thing.

Different price. Bikeshops more expensive by around $50 +- better do yourself if you have time.

guys.. i am under ntuc insurance for 1 year already.. can i change to other insurance company like axa? will my NCD still be there if i transfer?

NCD will be there. The new company will check with previous company on your NCD.

Hmm get someone who is 21 or above to help you apply for instalmet.

Or... since you are thinking of buying, then dun buy first, wait till you have the money to pay the insurance at one go.
