i dono lah...perhaps this is your first time riding a super4...so let you experience the thrill of riding it first...personnaly, i think vtec 1 is more performance based...vtec 3 is only cosmetically nice only...if only they have a combi of the two...vtec4...hahaa...

 

can enlighten me on the vtec 1&3 thing? :cheeky: intersted

the new spec is comin!!! so the new spec will b alot better :) coz its new.

vtec 1 to 3, main difference is the vtec kick in rpm for 1 to 3, the hiss for spec 2 n 3, then its the outlook that look abit diff. thats all.

all super4 is the same but how you maintain the bike is an issue... whatever it is,if you want economical, use stock items... do not meddle with your carb.

for me. i use back original honda parts. it might be slightly ex.but the assurance while riding it is the best. I too agree with u, dnt meddle with the carb and to maintain so tht it will last ...:p :P

a friend of mine said that version s is better. in terms of performance and FC. hit 400km before reserved. got a vtec switch; switchable on and off.

 

heard that spec III only have the outlook but no performance compared to ver s in terms of power and pick up coz of the power-cut. furthermore he is selling his ver s for 3k after renewed COE. what do you guys think of it? in terms of price and performance given by him.

any PB1 rider to share about PB1 fuel consumption, engine wise? was thinking of getting one but not too sure if it is the choice..

Spec one is my choice.... other than the sitting position, longer tank in lenght, and outlook from spec 3, everything is the same.

 

Spec one's fc is better than spec 3. want vtec got vtec. Average speed on SG road 90 to 100 km/hr. Spec 3 100km/hr (6235 rpm) already open vtec whereas spec 1 110km/hr (7000 rpm). Basically for relac slacker like me, spec one will be more then enuff... And till now i still cant believe my eyes coz i changed my endcan last week and until now,300km haven reach last bar....

 

If going for outlook and speed, take spec 3.... (but if want speed might as well take sports bike right?)

I miss my voom voom.....

Gonna hit the road back real soon with my dream "Xiao^Bai"..... :cool: heh heh.... hopefully....:)

I'm riding spec3 now and i can say that vtec dun open at 100km/hr.. Spec3 vtec open at 6750rpm at gear 6 (bet 105-110) and at 6350rpm at gear 1-5.. So in short, it got good pick-up at low speed and at high speed it saves petrol, excellent for singapore road..

 

Btw, my bro ride a spec1 and when i test his bike, i felt that his vtec is weaker compare to mine.. Maybe he never take gd care of his bike tat's y engine condition jialat.. Anyway spec3 engine newer so definitely will give better response.. Unless ur spec1 is well taken care of, if not there is no much difference between spec1 and spec3 except for outlook and the rpm vtec open.. :cheeky:

i feel lyk buying s4.. but i dont noe wat to get.. cause actually wanna get spec1 but some of my fren said spec2 better.. and i also dont noe the market price.. can anyone help mi by telling mi which is better and so let mi noe the price? anyway i wanna trade my honda wave s 125cc in.. yup..

i am deciding between a few s4 model to choose from after i pass my tp.

 

Currently, i have 3 models in mind to decide from

 

ver s

spec 1 and spec 3

 

which bike have good fc and looks and also lower maintenance?? and also which model will fit an avg NSmen pay? and also considering the safety features here.

class 2B : 27 November 2007

class 2A : 21 April 2009

class 2 : 21 October 2010

class 3 : 21 August 2007

Depending on which shop you are heading to. Certain shop do have brand new remaining Spec 3. You can try Bike Production:cheeky: I'm lucky enough to get the last piece Spec 3 from my bike shop. Insurance issue not sure, but i can share with you mine. I'm 26 and for TPFT(3rd party fire & theft) with 10% NCB(no claim bonus) is $500+++. If not because of the NCB, i will have to pay $700+++. Try to work it out from there, hope this will help enlighten you more or less.:thumb:

If you dunno anything abt servicing of bike, get Vtecs. If you know how to service your own bike get the PB1 as in the PB1 with the silver crankcase.

CB400F(II)N if you wanna service your S4 got 2 mech to recommend. From Jalan Besar MAH Motors. The 2 freak mech is riding S4, one of it is the PB1 CB400F(II)N if he were to sell it then BUY IT. no more such good condition ones already.
