I agree with SP good at cornering. Ever face this same "race" as me guy just came back from his NS duty*kekeke* ok anyways. While riding a straight road to go into BKE, this SP like follow me only. Then he drop gear and zoom beside me. So Okla...he just provoked me. Then at traffic light he tried to pick up but my pick up better than him. Left him a few lamp post and we go into a corner. Wah he corner really good. Lower than me. Then he smoke me. into BKE he ride dam fast but I was always behind him. Tailgating him. then he kinda scared he starts to recklessly riding by going left to right at me. He kept looking back at me waiting for me to come in to him. By then i never did anything coz I slowed down. Not becoz of scared of him. but coz I saw heavy traffic in front. The Mutherfcuker e-brake when he saw whats in front of him. Lucky for him and too bad for me coz cannot see free show on how people die. Anyways, I think he kinda shocked for a moment coz he starts to ride slow like he trembling like that. I came and ride beside him and smile...smile...smile...smile...smile...smile...smile...smile....smile...smile...smile...

i used 2 ride sp last time. I would sae experience it for yrself. Yr frend sld try & they will noe wat is call different class. No need 2 arrgue. Once he try 400cc he will noe y le. Some ppt jz lk 2 "bomb" alot.

 

Aniwae my ex-sp has a tong pipe but still no chance to beat super 4.

 

My frend put 5 lamp post for a kips to pick up 1st then chase fm behind but end up the kips still lose.

 

1 sp blow at mi i play wif him, 1 gear cnt c him in my mirror liao, fm then nv play wif small bike animore. It no point in "winning" them.

a s4 can maintain 190km/h for as long as the road permits but the sp can??

i got friends who saw kips piston jam just to keep up wit them on the NSHW.

i also admit i kena lap by sp at junctions but come corner is another story...

Yep true2.. comparing 1 cylinder 2 stroke and 4 cylinder 4 stroke is like not fair..conering part,SP win as the bike more lighter,lower..Its juz like 600cc and 1000c in a twisty track,600 will peform better.

I was having a discussion with one of my colleague who is riding a SP. He told me that SP can out race S4 anytime . I have heard of such thing before and I really find it hard to believe. If it is really so, why are there so many people buying a 400cc bike or S4 for that matter:sian: . but I guess I have to give it the benefit of doubt.

 

Assuming that SP or other smaller bike can out race or neck and neck with S4 (all stock) going at high speed .

 

I have the following questions :

1. Is it engine built for high speed (to go as fast as 400cc bike) ?

2. is it stressing the engine compare to S4 ?

3. At what rev must it hit to be on the same speed as S4 assuming speed of 180kmh?

4. Can it do 180kmh everytime easily compare to S4 say 5 times a day, every day?

5. What damage are they doing to their bike ?

 

These are just some of my queries, it might sound silly, I have never hit such high speed before and I don't think I ever would. but I am just damm curious

 

Any expert or old bird of 400cc class bike out there can give me a answer

When i first started riding s4, i was wondering why the pickup was slow but the engine was giving that inline 4 "loud" (but smooth) sound. I was probably using the low rpm range. Hence, as with all inline 4s, a 2 stroker be it nsr or scram will indeed outrun s4 in the first 0-50km/h perhaps. But once the the V tech kicks in the s4 flies. Reputedly able to do 0-100km/h in 5 plus seconds. Saw some youtube vid on this, dun quote me, dig it up yourself ;P

 

S4 at 180km/h its about 11.75krpm in gear 6 and 12.75krpm in gear 5. The SP even with mods will lose out to S4 in top end terms. U need to remember their 180 may only be 150. Their 200 perhaps left 170 or 180. S4 tech 3 can do 200, stock.

 

i have took the s4 at 120-180 to south thailand the engine is fine. So am I. But nsr to Melecca left me feeling very tired. Its the vibrations transmitted to the rider and posture. I don;t believe you can mantain the SP at that speed all the way to south thailand without overhauling at the other side.

 

That said, both are good bikes in their class, so it isn't really fair to compare across class and type. Hope this helps. I liked my nsr for different reasons as I now like my s4. Tell your friend the s4 and nsr both reputedly able to do 2 min at PG. Tell him it will be a good fight in a race and it will be down to the rider, SP can corner lower and s4 will leave SP behind in the 2 straights. I've had SP overtake me on the inside in turn 5 or 6 before, only after tailing me for 2 laps cause i pull away in the 2 straights, so if you friend wants to play in PG with an s 4... I will

Spec 1 top end is 190 (stock), so my rpm should be different from yours. It should be capable of faster pick-up if you consider the average manual car can do 8-10 seconds, and the average auto car 10-12 seconds?

Just now when I was driving my TS on the expressway, I kena tailgated by a Geely. I was already pushing above speed limit, he still want to overtake me...

 

 

Needless to say I din't give way, approaching my exit, I down gear and showed the idiot what my car has and his stupid china car don't have, my AWD, and weave thru the traffic as if I was still riding my CBR...

 

 

Some people's ego on the road is too big to match their vehicles sia...
