some pulsars easy to spot...

MJ - the only red pulsar in SG with fairing and 2 side boxes...

Arthur - black UG 1 with silver engine and spoke rims, but the most obvious 1 is you see a skinny guy riding a pulsar with a snoopy at the wind shield area...

Speed - 1 and only orange and white colour scheme pulsar...

Fiddy - blue/white colour scheme P200

Brandon - full white P200

Genosuke - full white P200 with white rear box

Fircyber's one is the only one wearing green mask and the only DTS-i 1800.

Hi Friends,

Sorry for not updating you guys sooner. Everything is fine, we are well. We are now near Phan Nga , 94km away from our stop for the day.

We are loving every minute of it, and thank god so far we only ha minor falls due to the weight of the bike. Although near Georgetown a sudden jam braking of the car in front o me lea me to bump the bike into it and with the force of the push, Pillionette's thumb got stuck between the two of us and it dislocated.

The nurses at the Butterworth hospital put it back and the radios didn't show any broken bones. This was last Friday, she is now feeling much better and Her thumb is immobilised to help it heal faster.

The major ache is muscle aches so please don't worry about us. I am growing more cautious and focused as we ride and now I am learning to handle the weight of the bike.

We have not finished publishing the blog but we write everyday.

One way to follow our daily adventures is through Twitter: we managed to have Edge Internet unlimited here in Thailand so we tweet very often. Follow us, our username is BikeretteTweets or go to

to read our tweets. We try to put photos as well :)

I strangely miss you guys :cheeky:, I wish you were with me, this experience is truly amazing, riding on unknown roads and meeting new people is great! The Pulsar is performing like a rock star, so far Shadow has been nothing but tough, enduring and very reliable. The perfect bike for the roads we met so far.

Tomorrow with wifi I will catch up on your posts here, I hope everyone is doing well.

Cheers and write to you soon !

Hi guys! Bike's coming to 20k mileage soon. Just wondering, any advise on what needs to be replaced? I believe the previous owner left evrything untouched except the battery cos he went ovrseas and it died once.

Bike's 2yrs 2mths old. =)

So far i've just been doing normal servicings everytime i change EO.

nothin to replace if nothing spoiled lah .. hahaha

besides normal servicing and EO change, ...... things you need to check and change if needs to ...

1: the chain and sprockets conditions,

2: wash carb if has not done before

3: recharge battery or change if needs to

4: check throttle cable and clutch cable

5: braking system

6: tyre condition

7: clean the centrifugal oil filter and oil strainer and check clutch plates condition

others that related ..... if no items spoiled than it's just a labour charge only ... checked alvin signature for pricing on parts in case needs too

maybe other members can add on the list .... hehehehehehee

Kidney Belt for Road Riders? ... just for thoughts

WANT TO STAY IN THE SADDLE LONGER AND MORE COMFORTABLY?

Add a kidney belt to your road-riding apparel.

My first kidney belt supported my guts and lower back in the 70’s during a tremendous amount of dirt bike riding. Man, do those things make offroad moto-life more enjoyable.

At some point after I started riding the pavement, I brought along the same kidney belt and found that I could ride much longer and with less fatigue whenever I wore the thing. 30 years later it is still a staple in my riding arsenal.

Basically, the belt keeps your innards from shaking around and it also supports your lower back. When I put mine on, I typically pull in my gut, tighten the wide kidney belt, and lock the hook and loop (Velcro) fasteners.

Hello Guys,

My pulsar is sold. So I am ex-pulsarian now :weep: Tomorrow going to LTA to do the transfer.

I bought a Honda Phantom already  will post the pics in the evening. Need to learn lots of things about this bike. Complete noob about it. First and foremost is I want to know how much EO to fill. Although technical specs say 1L most mechanics in SG fill 1.2-1.3L into the phantom :faint:
