Went to the weekly meet-up to finally meet the Old birds for the coffee session!

Coming to the meet for the 1st time, like all v- i was timid and i have reserved a back up contact in case i was murdered/kidnapped/rape.

So with my phone in hand, i decided to muster my courage and go to ..... the toilet.:confused:On my way to the toilet, I saw a huge hand waving at me. Awkwardly I headed towards the group where I introduced myself to all. With such a big group I couldn't remember all the names but I guess this will not be the last time I'm going to be in so I definitely have time to get myself acquainted to all.

I was ushered to a seat planting my ass next to a lovely couple who was a 1st timer as well. There I got to know big guy Matt, who looked intimidating. So damn afraid sia!I was a chicken in my previous life i think.:smooch: Luckily I hid my shaking knees below the table so no one knows.

Hearing him speak on the recent updates on what was being done/will be doing for the group, I was awed by how thoughtful he was. Until he mentioned about the suing, my knees started shaking involuntarily once again :help:

Sitting beside me, there is this warm friendly guy Fadly Fiddy, I remembered him as FD-FD.

He was ever so willing to help out guys with no knowledge just like myself. (Read next post on what i was intending to do)

Trust me , it took quite alot of patience from someone to make i sure i understand as i am a very stringent on money especially on bikes.

Especially when i know that if replacing this would/might cost me more then buying it."Potential cost/loss" So finally after helping me out on the different concerns, i got his mark of approval that it might work though no one has done it so yeah. Shall get it as my Christmas present to myself. =)

Next would be this cool guy Charles accompanied by a hot chick Cynthia both of them made me feel that this community has evolved from a group to a close knit extended family with the random tryouts of the hand-knitted cap for their niece.

Sitting on my right, the new couple beside me, jia lat cannot remember the guy's name though i think i have speaking to him the most the entire time i was there. But i remembered his companion Emily ..:help: OOPS! I guess we managed to find a connection because we are both 200NS rider and we were all 1st time coming to the coffee session.

When they were chatting about the bikes and all, i was patiently waiting for my food. Managed to strike a conversation with a nice lady (Joe's wife). She was pretty much a mother figure and she was more concerned about how come my food that have not arrived. Able to speak in their language, she managed to expedite my order and within mins my food arrived. POWER LAH!

So as i started to bite on my freshly made roti prata, everyone was starting to gather below for photo taking. Thinking that they are leaving, i said my good byes to C & C (Charles,Cynthia) before enjoying my prata savoring every bite from the piping hot dough stirring it thoroughly on the thick curry.

After my 1st bite, the entire group started to gather around me, I was thinking die already, they want to throw me in cement mix because im a freshman. FYI: There were 2 cement dry mix that were diagonally behind me..In the end i realized we have a photo taking session before making a move.

And the reason they were behind me is because i was still on the table slowly devouring my food,so instead of me going to the mountain, the mountain accommodated and moved behind me.

The awkward moment was when they started to take pictures with my food still in my mouth. So basically instead of looking like a model, i looked like a hamster with all the stuff food in my mouth. THANKS AH GUYS!

So after I'm done with my meal, i went back with Mr.86 where his bike is like OMG! there were so many different assortments of accessories that i felt that i have let down my NS >.<. been not only a bike idiot but road idiot. luckily mr. was kind enough to wait for me and guide the expressway.>

[/b]That concludes the end of my pulsarian session #1. Hopefully we meet again soon ! =)

Hi welcome...

mind sharing where you get the review?

chain sound might be due to loose chain after riding...

FC depends on your right hand, riding style and loading of your bike...

if you are throrrle happy don't expect fantastic FC...

now 200NS riders FC range from 32-42km/l depending on riding style...

hi, you are looking at the 200ns or the previous P200?

P200 will be 2nd hand should be around 4k+ range...

200NS last price is around 7k+ before insurance...

So many 2A bikes avail on market. So confuse n very tempting.. the KTM 390 n Honda CB400R looks cool at $14k OTR without insurance. Honda CB400X at $15k also very nice tone down V-Twin. However the latest Pulsar 200NS seems value for money. Understand dat short blast riding at 120-130km wudn't an issue. Throttle seems very light n responsive. Haizz.... pening kepala:p:help::help::help:

correction...

the new 400 series are parallel twins...

power band very different from the V-twins...

Pls correct me...

Pulsar 200NS eng oil replacement 1.3ltr. Spark plugs 2

KTM 390 2ltrs. Spark plug 1

Honda CB series 3ltrs. Spark plug 2

All models req coolants

Pulsar India

Ktm india

CB series Jpn

basically correct...

just that the 200NS has 3 plugs, 1 main 2 slave...

Niceeeeeeee... welcome to the family! :D  basically some very simple tips to maintain.. but how long has the bike been since first owner? Ns is a hardy bike and what you mentioned are maintenance that are probably done once in awhile and the technicians will advise when you go for servicing (depending you service based on mileage or duration).. You can search for us Pulsarians Singapore on fb where we are more active! Haha..

How long you been riding by the way?
