Kawasaki KRR150 Riders

hi guys, may i know the seat height of krr150? is is lower than cbr 150? cos im quite tall ah 184cm and comfort + looks will be my concern. dont wana look so wierd on the bike haha

 

Bro,I cannot give u a direct answer but judging from your ht, I would say that it might be comfortable but concerning your looks while riding, really, who cares rite cos if u like a KIPS, why not?

 

Nobody really going to come over to u and laugh at u or find that u are weird and such. Tats ur bike, u like for what it is, who cares.

 

Looking at the bigger picture, u can see cub riders of singapore... they might look "WEIRD" cos they might be mistaken for a Johorean but again, who cares...they earn their bike and they got the final say.

 

If u keep on asking ppl then all will give u different answers. So, if u like it, just do it.

Hmmm, depends on your riding patterns as from another KR rider, sometimes I can ride up to 22Km/L to 25km/L depending on where I've went and how much I've drag.. As for those31Km/L is those who never drag and never mod at all...

But must selit confident, and don't selit kurang ajar (don't squeeze between lanes inconsiderately). If not, don't selit k... Road courtesy is very important . bro, the important is the "feel good" factor...if u feel good, any bike also can make it....KR got the better look dan cbr150 in my opinion...cbr looks "slimmer":cheeky:

Infact after ridin kawa for abt 4 mths,Im really satisfied wif it.I feel its worth every cents of it.Top speed alone 190.With pillion 180(stock)Sometimes i see *sum Sp riders wanna play as soon as they catch sight of a KR..Dunno why such a bad blood btw these bikes hehe.I never give face to them too.Sp is never kr's match.Hahaha .KR all the way,dunt let KR name down.

I just got home after treating my sister to a marvelous dinner and a sweet looking Baby-G cos she passed her exams!!

 

Some nasty incident:

While riding and pillion my sister, 3 Malay guys riding SP and CBR tailed me from Chua Chu Kang till Jurong and wooing/disturbing my sister. For those jokers, just dont let me see u on the road again,I wont hesitate to cut ur lips.

 

Great memories:

KR bike is very stable and powerful. A slight throttle and it shoots away. Very smooth and responsive! I believe my fellow KR riders also feels the same way! Long Live to KR riders!!

He was in front all the way but was waiting for me to overtake, and when I did, he was like, "WOOHOOO!" omg after that they u-turned and left I don't know whether to be annoyed or to laugh sey...

nudgedoink, if u like it & ur confortable w it, go for it..wat icel say is true, cuz wen i survey bike many give totally diff comments on kr, rxz & other bikes..so go for a bike suiting ur condition & preference, cuz if pple got laff at u, u can always find something to laff at them back ..

haha i agree with u bro! actually i was leaning more to the cbr side as my budget is pretty tight and cbr is cheaper monthly. but then i realised that a second hand cbr would cost around 1000 more than a second hand krr. so when i took the 1000 divided by the slightly higher cost that i would have to fork out on a krr as compared to a cbr150, i realised that the 1000 could last me for more than 1 year! so now they are equal in my eyes. hahaha. thats y im asking more trivial things like seat height and such

I was in the same position as you 2 years ago... I was also leaning more towards the cbr150 because of the outstanding fuel consumption and the no need for 2t... in fact, I was already surfing the forums then... checking the cbr150 thread religiously to find out more about the bike. Then one day, I decided to look into the kr thread (a friend of mine used to ride kr that time, infact he used to be quite a regular name in this thread) for the fun of it... found that that fc for kr not too bad... maintenance not bad either, 2t isn't so expensive and well, kr obviously looks better than cbr150. Of course, the main difference was that kr can go much faster laa... so when my other rider passed, me and a friend went bike browsing... we went to a few shops in the ubi area... that's when I saw my current kr on display. It was love at first sight sia......... at a pretty good price too. =)

 

Never looked back from there... Now that I know a bit more about bikes, I wouldn't trade the amount of power my kr can bring with a slight savings from better fuel consumption on the cbr. Enjoying the ride is very important... everything else is secondary.

 

I suggest you think over again, what are you looking for in a bike... it's like finding a partner you know... how much are you willing to invest in your bike? It doesn't matter how you look on it, it's how good it will make you look. If still torn between the two, why don't you go down to bikeshops with a friend and test ride both bikes? I think that will give you a better perspective on your choice of bike. Good luck!

You will look way better on a KR than a CBR150..Trust me..

 

You can try test ride a friend's KR..And a CBR 150..Tho its illegal even if you have a valid licence..See how it feels like..Shops most likely won't let you test ride a bike unless you have decided to buy the bike (paid)..Really close with them..Or if you're wearin a skirt..Otherwise they'll prolly let your friend with ridin experience to test ride the bike for you..
