Yes, u are rite my brother. Our Kips have two reed valves integrated into one reed valves which opens above 7 rpm and another above the Red zone in our meter.

 

Many riders experience the exhaust sound change at above 7rpm. This is 1st valve opening. If given time and distance,progressively,it will hit the red zone.

 

This is where if u all notice, our bikes no longer roar as loud as the second valve open, we are hyper cruising our Kips. In aircraft,its similar to Afterburner.

 

This is where all air ports are fully open while fuel are blast into carburetor to produce as what the Kawasaki engineers mentioned: Super KIPS (Kawasaki Integrated Power System)

 

 

bro.. so u are saying its ok to ride our kr even though when the rpm reaches the red zone? i tot reach red zone means danger liao.. really hope to see some enlightenment to this..

hey des i think i dun want to spray iu unit leh..i think for that one put sticker is nicer..anyway, if i wanna take out my front headlight part and clean it up, think u got any idea how to do it?

no need change gasket... you went in JB and do? o.O lolx.. good.. just change the clutch plates will do.. :)

bro its normal for the bike to go down to first gear if u never clutch in and step on the gear lever..even u ride untill halfway never clutch in also can kick up gear and down gear..coz the gear is not engaged when u close throttle..in fact even if u ride untill halfway with the throttle still open u kick down the gear will still drop de..it wun be stuck there..

 

mine not only wen neutral.. lik say 5th gear i step slightly harder without clutching in oso can drop gear..

 

heyheyhey!!! :cheeky: actualli rite, when we changin gear, we can dun need to clutch in and change de, some for racing purpose.. BUT tat will of cus damage ur plates.. in order to save clutch plates, we clutch in, change gear and of cus, slowli release clutch.. tis will save ur plates more.

 

another problem is hmm, adjust ur clutch cable.. mayb due to dis problem.. if clutch in gt 'tek' sound, spray wd40.

 

if realli is clutch plates problem, u will haf symtons of losing power while up slope, RPM shoo up but no power.. vibration like ki siao and noisy.. difficult to change gear/find neutral.. or, gt service EO? lols..

 

hehe, anw, jus my opinion.. mayb still gt other possibilties.. :cheers::angel:

i tink is my plates problem liao.. recently my bike weird weird de leh.. sound oso weird weird.. yaya.. nw i up slope lik no power den rpm will drop as well..

 

vibration.. lik dun hav.. noisy.. cannot hear? hahaa.. EO i juz change as well.. nw change gear super smooth and easy.. den lidat not plates prob liao? hahaa.. alamak.. :slapforehead: headache sia..

 

aiyaa, i oso duno wats wrong now. :cry:

Earlier today,after tuning and rewiring of my tail light section,I decided to test my bike performance. I had done a few modifications on the wind tunnel of my air box to the carburetor.This modifications is actually my own idea to create that deep bassy air vacuum suction noise as we rev higher or sudden drop in rpm,the air suction noise will be audio able.

 

I was riding my bike along PIE when I noticed a white Aprillia rider tailing me. I then maneuver to allow him to pass me but instead of overtaking me, he match my speed and signal for a race.

 

Racing is illegal in Singapore road, but this small boy needs to be spank on his butt along with his Aprilla 125.

 

I return his signal and I asked him to initial the race a few meters ahead of me,while I give chase. If I failed to overtake him,then I lose and if I managed to overtake him,then I win nothing..but retaining our Kawasaki performance bike.

 

Cutting short this illegal race, I screamed past his bike and to be frank, I dont even see him anymore on my side mirrors and I reached home safety.

 

Sigh... a kid.

i think i open my second valve before.... once.... super fast!! sound like what val say" afterbuner" but after like 8-10 secs... i close throttle... cause scare stress engine.... temperature went up half....

2nd valve actualli hard to feel it when its open.. 1st one u can feel a pull back.. 2nd one around rpm 9k-11k open up (not sure, long time no drag so much le).. but mus relac, cannt open too long, valve can tak it, piston cannt tak it.. wahahhahahaa~! :angel:

tat squeezy sound, sumtime u apply wd40 it will solve ur problem.. but u change le jiu dun tink so much lo.. haha..

 

up slope sure will lost bit power, but ah, it depend on the lost power compared to the past u ride.. or mayb ur setting "run" away.. mayb go for setting it will be betta.. :cheeky:
