hello people. im very new in this. started riding KRR about 1 month ago. im just wondering where to get new block + piston (whole set with rings & bearings) with reasonable price?

 

my current block sent for skim before. is it advisable for me to change it or just continue using it? what are the effects after they skim the block?

onli head block cn be skim...block onli cn be rebore or polish...

skim head block is good for response but too much skim is usless..

block if rebore too big oso usless, cn throw away the block... too big means no power plus will damage piston very fast and u need to keep changing piston:cheeky:

block and piston is nt cheap... u need at least 500 sing to get them...

my advise if cn use juz use la...dun waste money

Same problem as me. Depends on ur budget and how long ur block can last.

Anyw, my Hickeys like no pick up power leh. The rpm like don't wanna climb. Only after awhile then can feel power. Is it because of valve or?

haha that power "feel" that you feel is when the valve opens..setting plays a part too..aiya want pick-up feel just adjust biting point nearer lo:P

but abit unhealthy for clutch plates from what i heard,tho so far mine never worn out:)

alright, thanks for the advice guys but the thing now is that i dont know how much they skimmed off the head block. i think the best is i shud ask the shop themselves. thanks a lot anyways!

 

got a few things in mind currently on what to do to my bike:

1) change head block (if necessary. must go ask the shop first and if they advice to change then most probably i will change)

 

2) change to R6 tail but the only thing that is stopping me is that i have to convert to premix which i think is very troublesome. if i can still use 2T pump after changing the tail, 100% confirm change. does anyone know the best solution to this?

 

3) my tail light every 2 weeks will die. already change the rectifier like what the shop suggested but still the same problem. they say if still no difference then must change magnetic coil. really meh? anyone face this problem before? im using RXZ's tail light, normal bulb one, not LED.
