does drilling of xtra hole effect the FC zzz my fc suddenly become very jia lat after i requested to drill more holes to change teh sound of the airbox .... from avg 30-34 drop to avg 24 - 27

hello fellow kr riders, i just got my kr, wanna check with you guys how to see if the choke is on? when i push it up, rpm is lower push it down rpm is higher. but i rmb someone told me before that tap down is turn off choke tap up is turn on. which contradict on what he says. btw i am using keihin carb duno if it makes any difference. thanks

 

When your choke is on, the rpm will be higher and noisy. When you off it, then it will drop rpm to idling rpm. At least, thats the case for my bike. For me, push down is on and push up is off.

thanks guys, but now when i off my bike after 1 day my tap down rpm lower. when i tap up the choke the rpm higher. so? down is choke off up is choke on ?

But some carb pull up is on, push down is off. Must chck properly.. For stock carb, up is close

Lol...there's another way. On a cold and rainy night or early morning, if your bike is like mine then it won't start easily without choke. So you see which position of your choke then your bike will start lor. Maybe your choke on is really up.

bro, the paintwork looks very good, super original ! original stickers of cos no stock, but they can get it if they order, of cos need to wait. i waited b4 for 1 month to order original sticker for my last time zx10! If u notice, it is very hard to duplicate a replica sticker to look like original.

while riding right at gear 6 i close trottle the bike suddenly like boost up den keep go very fast i brake no use must kick down gear suddenly. then ltr after awhile i recover from the shock den at gear 4, 5 liddat i close trottle it speed up also then this time i saw the rpm keep on rise till i damn scared rise till 10 i keep on kick gear down. then dunno wads the prob. now i try not to rev so high before closing trottle for fear it might happen agn, really damn scary.

after closing trottle still speed up? wow that sounds scary of u r trying to brake when approaching a traffic light or going to close to a car. that sure is a new problem to me nv heard abt it b4

Time for a full service... Think ur carb go problem. But u keep on down gear could hv damage u engine bro..

no choice leh i dun down gear i tink i chui alrdy brake wont even stop it man. really feel like bike tio possesed :/
