@Eno , yes i did on my petrol but ididnt open the fuel tank becos it start with just one kick and my the mileage meter still haven reach the km till i need to top up petrol. previously when my bike leaked petrol it couldnt even start hence i didnt think that there was no petrol. :/

did you go disturb the setting of the bike or ask any mechanic do setting ? ask them set idiling higher shld be np le after warm up. after possibility is air intake too high when you turn throttle will cease the bike

Contemplating wether to change to a open pod filter or just stick to my stock air filter. And I realise e filter box is drilled with some holes. Mech told e stomach of e exaust also took out. I'm happy as it is for now. So what's e advantages and disadvantages of a open pod. Am using open pod for my auto car and low end power is lost. But high end is good. Does it apply e same principle? TIA..

stock airbox best ! got all 3 power low mid high. air filter more for pick up duno why u say more for top, haha. anyw air filter kana water = jia lat

fast bike = eat petrol / slower bike = lesser petrol..

holes is to increase the air thus it's ok, open stomach = lesser rust + smoother at high rev..

 

Yo can somebody help me? Started my bike today and everything was fine till i kick to gear 1 then when i want move off the bike gives a v weak "want to die" sound den stalled. Tried a few times and also tried rev abit when in neutral but when always kick gear 1 move off den die. Can some pros explain to me asap tyty

Okay. Coz sometimes when there's a little bit of petrol left, the bike still can start and idle for 3-5 mins but when moving off it will stalled. It happened to me just now when I forgot to on the fuel. Well, just try set the idling high and see what happens.

ok. but i did not touch anything just didnt ride for one day after ytd heavy downpour. btw my idling is 1.5 and i got fuel inside i checked just now. tried agn and this time, in neutral, this time the more i trottle the rmb go lower and den die. den i choke rpm when up to liek 2 plus goin 3 damn noisy. damit tink i gotta tow to shop. sianx

Hey peeps been out for a while had some kind of problem with the site being blocked in SA for a while. but all is good again now.

 

Anyone please help me I urgently need a service/workshop/owners manual for my KRR it is a 2007 model but anyone would do just fine please guys...!

Anyone know how to fix or know where to buy r6 taillight for moulded kr tail. If you need to see the light I can upload a pic..

nth wrong, u on choke rpm 2-3 sure noisy. Your air intake too high therefore when u try to throttle it will die u try try throttle to around rpm 2.5 den move off if can means ur air intake too high go ask mechanic do setting can already nth spoil.

hmmm.. after downpour..

change spark plug.. highly possible wet thus causing this issue..

choke on=normal.. highest.. 4...

I think you have this symptom called "water inside carbuerator". Can drain away some water from your carbuerator by loosening one of the screw and draining away some petrol(plus water).

 

Either that or your spark plug is wet.

Sometimes can start but when moving off die off. Anyway, won't harm buying a $4 spark plug and give it a try. If still the same, at least u can unscrew the new spark plug and keep it as reserve. We;re just trying to help give some possible solutions on the problem based on experience.

Guys. I seldom experienced this but yesterday when i ride 120km/h, my handle bar vibrate alot. Can feel e difference. Any reason why ? can it be due to wheel bearing because from what i know, my wheel bearing have to change alrdy. So long nvr change.

ah boy have.. around 120 higher/lower for the original r6.. chiong one with integrated signal light is less than 100.. not sure of the exact price..

 

if u want r6 black tinted casing taillight then jb kokseng have.. but not original yamaha..
