wen i still keep the KRR on road,

i usually service most of the things my self.

usually even changin engine oil to plugs n DIY most of stuff.

 

My KRR have cleared meter thrice.

usually will advice that doin the things here n in malaysia are the same parts

but alternatively, u cust ya cost very very much.

 

wen played on the road still can be rite behind a Super 4.

 

layout now already goin for tack.

i got no problem to use 4 pot bermbo calipers(need bracket) with stock brake disc n stock fork on my Krr

Guys need some suggestion bro...

Gt few question do help if u know any solution...

 

I always gt alot of smoke coming from my bike.....i thought its due to 2t but just gt to know from my friends that my bike stomach and endcan is empty.

That y alot of smoke and my bike abit different sound from them.

 

With a empty stomach and endcan confirm cannot pass inspecion rite..??

my friend told me to just change endcan then can pass ready is that true ??

Endcan stock hw much uh ???

will my bike performance drop if change to stock endcan ??? ( I LOVE my ride the way its now... dont want it to down my performance)

If I were to just change it to stock endcan.

Will performance drop ??

If like that can pass inspection ??

Lesser smoke will come out rite ??

hey guys ask u all. if u had a choice to upgrade a krr front brake caliper, what would u upgrade it with. 4pot or 6 pot. anyone got upgrade before? do i have to get oversize discs or is there any 4 pot caliper which is just like bolt on and go without brackets cause i see most 4pot calipers use bigger discs then krr. i am finding a 4 pot which i dun need to replace fork if no choice then have to replace both ah. any experienced soul can let me know???

 

Bro, no need to do so much just change the master pump to aprilia master pump or brembo rcs16 master pump, den use gd after market brake hose + gd brakepads on stock caliper alrdy can endo/stoppie. Brake too big could cause front to skid during emergencies

i got no problem to use 4 pot bermbo calipers(need bracket) with stock brake disc n stock fork on my Krr

what model is it or from what bike did u get it from? where did u get the bracket? cause im so used to using a busa 6 pot caliper on my tzr then krr brake is like crap to me? how strong is the brembo over stock. my 6 pot one finger can brake from 100 to 0 with so much ease.

if u can fix busa 6pot at TZR,dun think got any problem fix 4 pot on krr.my bracket make at JB(not that good).never use 1 finger,the most 2 finger.fix till now never e-Brake b4 cos always ride slow n far distance from front vehicle!but i think 6 pot nid custom bracket...

funny is that urs old bike got headfairing bracket n dent tank;now change bike to FBA still got this same problem like the old bike??

i buy 2nd hand pump n calipers from JB frz.around $4xx plus some free items,also got rear berbmo for $1xx,but i never buy,scare rear brake too gd later skip...cos few time e brake when pillion my wife..really scare me,even not that fast but feel like hard to stop the bike on time!

need stock front and rear brake disc stock for kawasaki kr. if got pm me. thanks. or better options? got i still noob.my rear disc plate spoilt and need replacement. the brembo ones are nice, durable and trustworthy, but lack of cash. feel like wanna install over-sized disc plate but scared will compromised the brake pads and braking effect. pm me for suggestions and if you got any of it for sale. thanks.

I just tried to see how fast my bike can totally go in Malaysia today. Can only go up to 199km/hr and the speedo dowan to move already leh. RPM about 12+ but not 13 yet. I hear people clear meter on krr....which means 210km/hr and above right? Am I being limited by my CDI or sprocket size (size 41)? No mods on my krr except my exhaust got decarbonize in SG. Not that I want to race...but just want to know only....after all I'm sure most people will want to know how fast their bike truly can go.

Hi guys...juz got back from NUH.Fellow pizzahut desptach rider colleague got into accident when gg for delivery..Self-skid or fall..Critical stage..Head damage serious..

(Sorry and apologize if any family member is reading this..not trying to discriminate or make things worst in anyway.Sincerely from the bottom of my heart)

 

Well first time i ever went to A&E and i really hope this will b e last .Taken back and shocked.. Ride safe bros..~ Noe tis is rather...Off-thread..But yeah just trying to express my feelings somewhere..where ppl can truly understand.(Cos afterall u guys ride bike)

Anyway...guys FF flip up helm = same as half/open face normal helm?

Cos ever read before that IF accident happens...it also cant protect much...and will b like a norm half face helm..cos it's easy to slide down n up.

Any views on this? Cos i was planning to get one FF-Flip up helm.

Ferstly our meter got error, n its diff on every kr. Tats y some say they can clear bu mayb another kr only at 200km/h beside him... Aniway u may wanna try sprocket size 38 or 39 for more top end. N ur bike stock can reach 12k+ rpm = power!

lolx.. see all the post.. your post is the only post I'll reply.. it's exactly as Alvin mentioned.. Ride safe but safe.. Know your brake distance.. Check for ways to get out of the accident if that DAM* driver jam brake.. Yesterday I was riding at 70 with my gf.. (with pillion, braking distance need more), YELLOW LIGHT.. STUPID P-PLATE DRIVER JAM BRAKE WHILE WE ARE 70KM/H! I'm same speed as him.. behind him.. den SHIITT.. Look out his right, got one car.. can squeeze.. left side no car.. but no time to check back as we are around 1~2 car of length.. Squeeze his right! Phew.. Just nice, "slightly" abit infront of the stop line.. really KN* lor.. feel like pointing middle finger.. but.. forget it.. just rev off..

Flip up not recommend unless you really need..

1) more heavy

2) if in very serious accident, the "mechanical" that flip up will spoilt and will "auto" flip up

 

If you wan to be in safe, ride safer. (doesn't mean slow) Check blind spot and all that you think will cause you accident..

Know your braking distance well.

Squeeze if required, check out for fellow riders who are squeezing and changing lane AT the same time.

Like my above post.. 2 place for you to go.. Go to the one that's safe.. Not the empty lane.. You don't have much time to react if you go empty lane and realise the car is actual behind you.. so, you can only choose to bang the car infront or beside..

I am really sorry to hear about your colleague, bro. I hope he will be alright. Maybe you can elaborate more about his self-skid/fall after you learn more about it so that we can learn from his experience. As for riding a bike...safety is partly in our hands. We can minimize the risk of accidents but not eliminate it totally as it relies on other road users/ road conditions/ unforeseen circumstances too. As for myself, I don't lanesplit often unless I am really in a hurry or its jammed. Even when I lane-split, I don't speed between the cars. I go at a decent speed enough for me to react if anyone changes lane suddenly or do something erratic.

Thanks for the advice bro. My previous sprocket was 39 but recently I changed to 41 for more pick-up on Singapore roads. My mech said that my fuel jet is smaller than stock. Will it affect my top-end or pickup by alot?
