Me also... i dun think there's value for our bike... registered 2002 COE ending December 2012. No one want to buy i rather scrap and keep the parts then sell to shop....

yup .. the value is looking at 200 only ...as the COE value is only 10 plus ? unless you renew COE then you bike value goes up ..

Yakuzza is correct, when carbon got trapped inside the exhaust and since you hardly drag above rpm 7 as you are riding mostly below 80kph, the carbon got trapped.

*rest assured it will not do any harm to your bike except dirtying your floor.

to resolve it, fine tune it and ride it hard once a week at least.. maintain 8000RPM for a certain length of route let's say 10~20km.. :)

IF i am in south Africa ... i do it the Manuel way ... de carbon ... .... you use riding to clear ... it can be done ... but don't over do ....cos your block is full of carbon any funny business ... piston jam .... or do it this way ... today 35 mile then tomorrow 40 mile then follow 45 mile ... it help alots then you one time shoot all the way up to 100 km/h ... killed your engine instantly ...

I completely disagree. Many singaporeans are "brainwashed" into the idea that 10 years is old for a bike or car! On my trips to just nearby Johor, I see many bikes or cars that are 15 / 20 / 25 years old and still being used daily ! Stupid COE system !

Think, will there be another CBR / R / GSX-R etc etc newer, better bike than the present 4-stroke versions we have now in 10 years time? Probably yes, right? Eg. A new CBR150 has replaced the older version , a FZ-16 has replaced FZ-150i.

But will there be a 2-stroke replacement for our KRR, SP, RXZ, TZ, 125Z, etc? Probably not! Eg. SP which are more than 10 years old are still in demand more than a 8-yr old CBR150? You need 2A for the 4-stroke 250 ninja, which leaves out most beginners who will understandly prefer CB-400 or class-2 when they got those licenses. However, many will find them costly to maintain, which is no issue if you are financially successful, however not all of us can afford it.

I have fellow "uncle" friends that regret scrapping their old RXZ for new CBF / YBR / Tiger / Twister. ( no offense to those owners, sorry! ). Many of those less financially successful find CB-400 / class 2 unaffordable or not logical budget wise if you are using it to do dispatch.

haha.. indeed.. :p

Thus I'm keeping my KRR for good.. ;)

any pictures to show? infront? or where? :)

Hi fellow krr riders, I need some advice on the value of my krr. Only have 0.5 year left on COE. Manufactured in 2003. Any estimates on how much I can sell it? Really appreciate any advice =)

sorry for barging in here, i would advise to renew and keep it, not much of a choice of 2stroke bike now , and also in future can use as alternative ride..

trust me someplace aint worth it to ride a big bike

Dispatch use 1000cc means Liao-lui" business...:(

hao: Ya lor.. mostly gasket.

Shahmir: Change your gasket and see if it leaks any more.. however, the main problem is not just leaking of air from the gasket, it's why is it leaking?

A few months ago is how many months? More details pls? :)

& preferable to go back to the bike shop where you overhaul, say why will leak this thing? If normal black dirt/dust still acceptable but not black liquid flowing out..

singapore :)

Bro.. singapore say big not big, but you say small also not small.. :)

So where is it? LOL.. :p

any1 noe whr i cn find e fairing bolt and nut which i circle in e pic.

i wen to afew bike shop dey say dun haf those kind.

If you talking about the nut and screw, can get from any hardware shop. i changed all my nuts and screw to stainless steel ones. so wont rust.

second to that, thus planning to renew my krr when its coe ends next year january.

yes agreed. best is to renew as we dont know there might be any wave trends in bikes in the future.
