hey i just passed my last week too. looking to get 2nd hand KRR like u as well. insurance wise i think its faster if u call NTUC income to get quotation from them. or u can just do it online. but u need to have the full plate number of the KRR that you're getting..

Nope.. once you are used to it.. it feels like a breeze..

Used to a new bike? Go out with the same bike and shoot qns to the old birds.. :)

Kawasaki KRR are all kick start.. change to electric start is near impossible.. else super expensive.. (no bike shops willing to do) Might damage other parts that you rather not damage.. :)

insurance as per someone quoted.. estimated 1.5k for 18 year old.. above 21 got discount.. :p

As per below.. those are the more important stuff.. but you really need someone to check the bike for you.. Main point is.. engine + gear.. you do not wan to spend money on these..

Hi guys, my kick start just broke off.. I think its the screw holding the lever to the engine.. any idea if it would be expensive to get this fixed? http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/04/15/a9ededu6.jpg

Hi Guys. Anybody's KR when parking on the side stand leans to the side very low at an awkward angle? Any idea how to make the bike stands straighter as the side stand holder is part of the bike's main frame.

Side stand bent? Or check the screw to see if its loose.

The side stand is straight and the screw ain't loose. Was wondering if it's possible to break off the stand holder, weld it and refix it back to the bike.

Of course u can do that... Take note, welded metal is not as strong as before... Prepare yourself to find your bike lying on the floor one of these days... How I know? I bought a bike with the side stand holder welded before... The seller didn't inform me about it... 2-3 months after I got the bike, the side stand gave way, found my bike lying on the floor at my car park. It was a Sunday and no workshops in Singapore was open. Had to lean my bike against the wall to park it. Imagine your car park is an open space car park with no walls... How are u gonna park it if it gives way???
