My KRR comsuption full tank can be used to 250km.

 

So its about 28 to 30km per liter. Depend how you ride the bike.

 

Krr parts still alot avail in malaysia and indonesia. But heard, indonesia will stop and change with ninja 250 mono. Not too sure for malaysia.

Just received CDI denso type 1454, within 5 mins, install it on the bike.

 

Tested and i felt the diff. pickup faster..... very nice.....

Hi guys, can I get a rough idea, from the experienced riders preferably those who have rode SP AND KR before, on which bike to get? Might use the bike for another 4-5 years, depends.

 

I really like the looks of SP but they're no longer in production hence I'm afraid parts are hard to find.

 

I'm considering KR as it's still in production in Malaysia hence there's possibility of getting spare parts however I feel like the fuel consumption is higher compared to SP. I don't usually see people complaining much about the fuel consumption of SP.

 

Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Can go for msig. But they dont sell direct to customer but via agent

for me,i ride my kr when i was 18,no choice except for msig n ntuc for below 21 with sportsbike. so i took msig($1300) as ntuc is $1.5.

call out every company for your quote.

im still using msig,walk in to their office everytime mine expires.

Current project for my KRR:

1. Change the carb to TZM one (2mm bigger)

2. Upgrade CDI to denso 1454

3. Change speed meter to latest KRR model

eh guys just to check, nowadays inspection so strict? i ride krr for 8 years liao this is the first time i am told my welded pipe cannot pass? When did the camera at the inspection point started?

 

any tips to get pass the inspection? lol

Yeah heard they very strict now. Easiest way is to bring to shop ask them help you do inspection lo. I did mine at republic motor.

Most important thing, speedo is plug and play. No need to change anything (same bracket, same socket, etc)....

hi guys, ive got a prob here... before dis, my tank was giving me a lot of prob, when I on my petrol, there will always be overflow leaking from my carb. las thur I send the tank to clean e rusty areas, however today when fix it again e same prob arise, please advise. tanx

Then its not because of tank. Need to set carb float or check the needle. If needle not good, cant stop the petrol when carb full
