This bike under spec compare to FZ150i.For me rather get a 4 valve plus cooler bike.Its look like lord of the street but actuali the spec fail it.For my view still prefer FZ150i coz the speedomter already tel it all compare to this new fz16 toy type meter.haha,individual view.

I agree with what u said...

 

- Air cool might not work that well for a stop-start conjested singapore traffic...

- 2 valve is a let down, the whole engine design is very yester-year...

- i don't mind carburator, but bike FI development had gone quite some way in its reliability, and it would be a bit nicer to have it...

- performance is very poor when compared to FZ150 or similar 150cc 4stroke japanese bikes

- no big-bore kit available in singapore & india for this engine type currently, so performance still cant be further improved at all

 

BUT... i must say, at 6.4k OTR for such a good-looking bike is really a hard-find.

Wow the thread i started 2 years ago.. but only manage to see it landed in Singapore now... Saw it at SBF fest... its seriously one of the best looking 2b bike i ever see...

I bet this rd warrior would be good in fuel consumption, my indian colleague told me in india they more concern over fuel consumpton than any other things on the bike. Hence I believe such mindset shall pass it onto FZ16.

Yes, but not totally, because this machine was built mainly for riding comfort and with enough torque to handle the city traffic well.

saw one in suntec today, had to look at it twice to make sure it wasnt a class 2a or class 2 bike cos the rear wheel was so fat... very good looking bike...

riding fz 16 now... not bad for 2b bike... got power for pick up... not so fast for long distance as only got 5 gear, if only they make it 6 gear will be better for distance riding... cornering wise is stable as rear tire is big... after modification guess d bike will be greater to ride...

Reason for drum brakes is its sufficient enough for most smaller cc bikes.

just bought this bike from hl. paid 7.5 for the bike and about 900 for insurance cos im 24 and new. waiting to get my 2b now so that i can get my hands on it.. lesson 8 and counting!!
