Anyway, whenever im travelling at 5th gear and i change up to 6th, (speeds at about 100), the speed will drop slowly no matter how much i open the throttle. is there something wrong with my bike?

Hmmm, try revving to a higher rpm before upping gear, you don't need to be at 5 or 6 at 100, speed jams when my rpm is around 6000.

I used to own a silver aprilia but sold it after i got a car. now thinking of getting one again. where can i find good deal for brand new and 2nd hand aprilias? thanks in advance! =)

 

I went around recently to shops and owners with my friend, shop prices are ridiculous, the ones I went anyways. Most of the aprilias we viewed were banged up and unfixed too, I'll give you a heads up if I see a good one anywhere, the shops around Alexandra don't have them, you might want to try ubi area though, couple of them there, was an 06 somewhere

had that problem too. mine rattles from 2 kicking down to one. i think the issue for me is that i might be kicking the gear down too lightly, meaning not fully engaging the gear one. thus the lever is caught between neutral and gear 1 in which the rattling sounds occur. my solution? try depressing harder? thats what i did and the rattling doesnt occur. just my 2 cents won from CNY gambling's worth.

 

i have been kicking down hard, n e prob did stop till tis happened =s dunno whether its from kicking hard or juz wear n tear... but ouch man, there goes my savings *sighs*

thks. i talked u to and didnt noe u r actually subzero. i was still admiring ur bike w u w all the super ex mods! haha! yup my uncle told me the same thing too, he also said it may be alignment prob since the previous owner did an overhaul before :D

need help on something. Where is a good shop to get 2006 Aprilia RS125 serviced and taken care of? Also, looking at doing paintwork. KNow any good shops?

 

And how much can the bike fetch now for this model if I were to sell it?

 

Everyone recommend 37 motoring at kaki bukit. Anyone noes if it's open today?

Definitely wear and tear. Your bike is almost as old as mine. Settle for a 2ndhand gearbox if necessary.

That's what i heard too! I asked him last week itself too. Maybe he's chillin by the beach with his family now before coming back for war in the workshop. A fleet of aprilias are lined up in the workshop waiting for him when i passed by earlier on. :lol:

hi to all aprilia riders, i have been scouting around for a 250cc (replica model) for sometime be it from private sellers and bikeshops. Before i make a confirm deal, would like to hear your advices on what to look out for on a 250.

Hi guys,

 

I'll be in Singapore tomorrow, should be free around noon onwards, so was wondering where do you guys go for toy shopping? Currently ride a RS125, and wouldnt mind looking at parts/upgrades, or even simply check out the bikes you guys have. Last time I saw a few RS125 around Ubi Industrial area, looks pretty modded.
