okie, all the best for a gd condition KR:cheers:

haha .. noted & read ! LOL

i am so touched, cos seldom ppl read but keep asking the stuffs tat can be found there, try find a gd bike n stick to it, not worth it to keep changing

like sportsbikes ? get the yzf-r125.. beautiful machine :D

yeap, although top end not there but smooth ride

I used to have this generalization that lady riders all big and muscular.... very butch like

hhaha, confirm BF or hubby scared of them

not really enough to justify the hefty price tag esp if only riding it for 1-2 yrs (sry, so shoot me)

..save the money can upgrade to 2nd hand r6 >.

get a R125 n use it for >5yrs, confirm worth it.

IMO 2nd hand R6 i dun quite recommend unless only use for track only, everyone got different opinons:cheers:

if i ever had a bit more height .. maybe i'll consider it .. but pity a girl not even 1.6m .. its too tall .. so boohoo ! :(

but if you are new to the road, get something that you can be comfortable riding. both ur feet can reach the ground etc.

i am not tall either, actually 1.56cm. actually there are shorter scramblers like xr 125 and xr 200. i have to admit that ktm 200 is a bit high for me but i m getting the hang of it. tmw i will be taking part in an enduro race in malaysia, don't be surprise to see a few girls racing.

next time hope to see you in racing in future too. (legally of course)

can i be cool and not cute ? LOL .. im nt the cute type .. haha ..:cheeky:

Just stating my opinion here but i think the scooters like Vespa is probably the most practical and cool bikes for ladies. its comfortable, you keep all your barang barang when you ride and you can keep your helmet in the box. You can even paint the bike pink and it'll still look cool! You don't get wet when you hit a puddle! You even get to wear your skirt and high heels when you're on the bike!!! No need to kickstart!!!! why kickstart when you can just press a button?

I had 2 Vespa ET8s and they were LOVELY!!! and I'm a guy - mind you....> 90KG.

I quite like the Yamaha Fino too ...but a bit too kooniang for me..

So if i buy another bike - it will be a Vespa! Viva Vespa!!!

Any lady riders share my opinion?

from all ur posts, u r only interested in SP or kips. despite the high insurance premium, u still wanna go for it? u wanna get a transport for school, get a commuter bike instead! insurance premium is alot lower n maintenance is alot cheaper. seriously, u wun wanna end up like ur friend, bike go motortiam, pocket got hole.

its a big gap between wat u like n being practical. but ultimately, its ur money, ur choice n ur liking. we can only give u our point of view n advise.

get a 4 stroke bike best liao... hassle free maintainence...

yes I know top speed not as good as those "legend" SP n KR... but got quite reasonable torque and speed... in sg road riding at 70-90km/hr does save fuel and its comfortable. *save fuel as in gradually picking up speed do avoid sharp acceleration

I'm riding a X-1R, its small, lightweight and nibble very suitable for ladies too. It looks great with loads of accessories :cheeky:

IF you have a bike in mind le, just forget what I said and buy it. LOL.

bike is a machine without soul, rider would inject new life and character to this machine

let me just give you 2 real-life examples. i have a friend whose dream bike is a husqvarna 125. but sadly, she's still schooling. so she bought a yamaha nouvo instead for transport purposes only. after 1 or 2 years, then she will get her husky. for her, she don't intend to move up to class 2 so i guess buying a first hand husky 125 is worth it for long time use.

another of my friend ride a sparky even though she loves sports bike cos her dream is to ride a class 2 sportsbike. but she will just use her sparky till the day she can afford her class 2 bike. practicality comes first as she's still in uni.

so, which set of thoughts you belong to?

about buying 2nd hand bike, it all depends on individual, i guess. if someone just wanna buy for the sake of feeling the power and having no intention to keep it for long term use, 2nd hand should be appropriate. but if someone really dreams of the bike for long time use, 1st hand will be appropriate i guess. cos come on la. if that's your dream bike, wouldn't you want to be the one to run in the bike and take care of it from its birth until its death? at least if there's any problem, you yourself will know what you have done to your bike. for 2nd hand bikes, you never know if the components inside the engine have been modified for performance purposes. stock=durable, modded=powerful but not long lasting.

to add on to this, got 1 friend also. passed TP after 4 tries. then, father bought for her an RXZ. now, she got no guts to ride the bike. wasted! if i got an rxz, i sure happy already. a legend bike also. let's just say anyone can ride bikes. just a question of passion. passion to ride a bike and passion on what type of bike u wanna ride.

how about mine? 2500km every month.. beat that! when i look at my mileage, i sometimes wonder how i can clock that much and not feel the pinch. when i bought the bike, it's at 10000km. but now, 39k almost reaching 40k already. and it's only 9 months. fuel-wise, don't feel the pinch. cos the worst also is $70/mth cos full tank is RM30(5 times). apart from installment and change of wear and tear parts, every mth only $100-$70 for petrol, $20 for parking, $10 for engine oil.

Umm... After I passed my 2B, I also wanted to get the Daelim Roadwin... But the resale value was a put off... so in the end, I settled for TA200 which I did enjoy riding though...

Er... As for 2B bikes, I think a choice of either KRR, NSR, CBR150, RXZ, TA200 should have fairly good resale value... this will be a concern for you if you are planning to change your bike in a year's time.

Biking is something that everyone can learn and enjoy! :goodluck:

I have tried to sit on the Roadwin. And i must say it feels like a very heavy bike. 162kg dry weight. And being 125cc, i dont think it has power. Though it feels nice to sit on. :p
