Dun forget the secret handshake... LOL

Bro, whats the secret handshake?

It's not about the power or speed or how fast your ride goes but the time & effort spent to achieve something different

The fuel cut off problem when riding is probably your fuel filter being choked or fuel pump not delivering the fuel smoothly.

I had this pblm when i had my previous SS. Exactly same symtoms as you, ride halfway the bike can suddenly jerk and stall while throttle open. Stop a while, restart still can ride, but after a while it will happen again.

What was discovered on my previous SS was that the fuel tank was rusted inside and the rust particles have choked up the fuel filter and the fuel pump was also faulty. The rust was a result of oxidation, when a bike is parked for long time with empty fuel tank.

Time to get someone to have a look inside your fuel tank....

1098 tank made entirely of plastic. So no issue with rust. Check the fuel line, make sure its not being press on, den move on the the fuel pump. Lastely the fuel injectors.

The OPS last night was to target drink and drive. They were not interested in our exhaust but Kioz and me still kena booked for no number plates at the front :(

It is impossible to defeat an ignorant man in argument.

Hi guys, with all the LTA clamp downs looking to get some aftermarket but "legal" pipes for my 1100. Still new to bike ownership in SG, so would really appreciate any experience on importing your own pipes and having them LTA approved?? Thinking either Arrows or SC Concepts, both would be EU approved with the baffles in, so any body had good/bad experiences? Thanks

fufu, its a bike full of torque and I have e same jamming sound at 2 gear going over hump or slow speed. I think ur bike knocking sound and rough move off could be due to you r not used to it, I got my duc and it feels very different from other brands. I send for servicing and nothing is wrong, it took me a month to get used to the throttle and control. Even till now I still have the tendency of under power or over power at handling the throttle. Maybe u can reduce the clutch by changing e clutch slave and bembro to lighten your movement hence gaining more in control of e bike. My bike is 13 yrs old so I think yours is different, definately much more healthier. Just my 0.5 cents :):):):):)

Bro..try riding down one gear..keeping revs higher

...too many to list

Perfect! Thanks Germs, thought it might be a bit of a lottery... Really like the 2 into 1 SC-Concept pipes as the full system cleans up the look around the engine, but very much doubt that LTA have ever seen a set of these, let alone have them in the database... and not sure I like them that much to be the guinea pig Looks like a trip to Biketech is in order to see what deals they can do... :-)
