Hi guys, just want to share something for the 1098 riders. I recently got my clutch basket and plates changed, as well as installed the race evo ecu and got my bike tuned after the valve clearance at 12k. I've tested 2 tanks of fuel already on about 70% highway 30% city and discovered to my surprise my FC has improved by 50%. I used to get 12km/L but got 17km/L on my first tank and 19km/L on my second.

 

As far as I can tell, I'm running a richer mix because of the Race ECU. I don't really know what it is that caused the FC to improve (In fact I thought it'd be worse), but I thought this might be interesting for those of you using the 1098 to commute.

im just thinking of going on sunday as im working on sat. 1 day trip for me. just wan to noe is it safe for me to ride up and park there without constantly having to worry that it might be gone in 60 secs

Aniway i would lk 2 thank Eltigre for his advice, Pumpkin head, skywheel, wei an, fubu and Jan for openin up my options abt gettin my next duke. Lastly, T28, raihan and rockoil, really appreciate ur presence today at rays. Cant wait 2 rids wif u guys again!

Haha yeah man.. Both of u supposed to give opinions, nt steal my catch ;)) haha kiddin2.. It was a gd short meet up i supposed. Aniway gd 2 noe ur nightmare is over rockoil.. Trust me, have faith in ur 996 n u will be proud of it after it's fully restored. Until 2day, i dunnoe whr e new owner of my 916 has kidnapped it. Kinda miss lookin at it.
