Likely not as the start switch and left side headlamp switch assemblies has different wiring to the meter set of wiring. Further more..the meter sitting mount is likely different. There are other equipment from 3rd party product I seen before that comes with clock, speedometer, temperature, rpm meter...etc..in hi-tec design digital type. Can use that as an option..about $300+ or so. Just added mount to your handle bar. I think MotorWorld has it..not sure.

Hey guys, my speedo meter sometime working but sometime not working. When it's not working, my trip meter also never move. Is it my speedo sensor spoil? If so, how much does it cost to get it replace? Thanks guys!

Hi every1, yesterday top-up my coolant.

Hands shaky till spill here and there wasted coolant abit :faint:... thats okay but i over shot the coolant in the reserve reservoir upper level by one inch.

My question is, would it have any ill effects when the coolant is top-up beyond the upper level marker?

Thank you :)

Its ok lah..just that somemore will overflow thru the overflow excess tube and u see some coolant at below center of the bike on the floor area when u park...evetually, the level will stablise.

Thanks for the advise, by the way do u know where is the speed sensor located? Think of

Taking out to clean, thanks.

If its the sensor u are sure of..it has to be replaced. I believe its located in the mid section of the gearbox top area..haven't really done it myself but ur carbs all have to come off..its not a "ABC" thing to do. I have one more question...is ur RPM meter affected when the problem comes..like sluggish movement at certain rpm?

All is ok, except the speedometer on,off. Most likely is the sensor or wiring problem.

Thanks for ur help.

Hi Guys,

I recently bought a Spec3.When i Switch on the bike it runs both the meters ( Speedo & Rpm ),. But when i ride the bike the speedo meter is not working & the rpm is working just fine.So just because of that mileage also not working .Since cables are not available in this model what could be the problem ? Since the meters are working when switch on can't be a meter problem ! Please help me on this

Hi, ur problem solved? Is it the sensor problem and where is located, thanks. Having the same problem.

I am currently riding a spec1 with its original tail brakelight.

Is it possible for me to replace the fluorescent bulbs to LED bulbs?

If yes, which model should I quote when purchasing?

Thanks

bro why do you need to replace with LED? As far as i recommend, its best to stick with stock for your lightings as LED etc is not stock and you can get fined or wont pass inspection.

I am getting white. I am riding a spec 1. The rear brake light is used to illuminate the license plate too. If i were to use red, i dont think is it bright enough.. :\

on a side note, M400 sold out the brake light LEDs.

Hello any bros here can advise me where to get the 2 x side box with bracket to fit on vtec 2 probably the estimated pricing.

E21 with SB2000 rack is about 210-220 from LAB before bargain. :\
