Came up with this idea after Rex suggested it.

I always see a 09-10 White R1 with Red Frame and Arrow Pipes (db killer removed! - sound beri nice!) always exit Rochor and turn to Beach road every morning.. Wonder if he's here. Just wanna say hi, and love your bike!

From my understanding there are 2 TPS under out tank, the throttle cable will only connect to 1 TPS (that will be the main) and there will be a certain reading for this TPS when close and 100% fully open (sorry, not sure of the reading) For my case my main TPS reading is higher when close, that explain the sudden urge when i close throttle. My mech switch my another TPS over to replace the main and everything is solve. Anyway at that time if my other TPS reading also not tally then i have to buy a pair of TPS which will cost ard 200+.

 

Anyway it might be your clutch plate slip as mentioned but if its not your clutch, no harm doing a check on your TPS reading. Well whatever it takes to cure that sudden urge when you close throttle and clutchin in, its very very dangerous, trust me on this....

bro maybe u wanna try adjusting your biting point further out first? see if it helps....

If engine no stall, then clutch friction plate need to replace.

Met with my first serious accident yesterday...Head on collision with a stupid L plate car which veared in the opposite traffic. Can't remember what happened....hospitalized for a day and now mc for 2 weeks. My R1 largely destroyed I think.....Felt like a dream, can't recollect most of what happened.

Luckily neva set appointment with u to tachyon. Haha. I went liao n synchro the injector. They mech check n my bike reading is way out n need to synchro. Cost $45..

Thanks guys! Felt so sad for my beloved R1.... As for me not much major injuries just some abrassion, muscle strain and aches and some loss of memories...hopefully all works out fine eventually.
