I doubt there's anything wrong. As long as the radiator is too hot, the fan will start automatically to dissipate the heat. I would be more worried if the fan does NOT start.

But it would be good practise to change the coolant if you haven't done so for some time.

Hi guys .. just wanna ask you guys de opions .. how do you think a ver s fair against spec1-3

There are a lot of issues to ponder upon if this question were to be answered. Also, there will be a myriad of opinions from different people.

But for the flaws of the ver s, you can just check back the past pages. They are littered with stories of busted radiators, leaking blocks, coolant leakage and so on.

Lol. Hondaman, kena left right centre ah. Haha.. You and your mechanic seem very "close" uh.. But if the rapport is that good, both sides stand to gain!

Ver S and VTEC issue has been discussed only about a gazillion times. Although the Ver S sounds more garang, once the VTEC kicks in, we'd prolly smell smoke. Or they'd prolly say, its the rider and not the bike. ;)

guys i got another question pls enlighten me .. the vers s4 don have vteec does it mean it = on vtec all the time .. that means fc not as good as those vtec ones?

VTEC or Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control is not about having extra valves etc. It's just that the intake and exhaust valves are electronically controlled via a electronic chip.

In short, at low RPMs, the speed at which the valves (intake and exhaust) open and the duration they stay open is optimum, but the same speed and duration of the valves will not be optimum at high RPMs. So by having a chip to control them, they can be adjusted for optimum operation at a wide range of RPMs. Eg. At higher RPM, the speed and duration increase to allow more fuel in.

For Ver S, there is NO chip to control the valves. It is all controlled mechanically by the own running of the engine. But Ver S is known to be quite a fuel-efficient bike. So take heart~
