[Group] Super Four Non-VTEC Family: PB1 VerR & VerS

hello guys, i might be considering joining the non-vtec family but i have a few questions to ask. Firstly, how much would it roughly cost to overhaul the bike namely a project big one. and when i mean overhaul, i mean the works... like its in bad condition...water pump leaking,block leaking.... and where do u think i can get a bagster bra to fit the tank? thanx guys for your insight its really appreciated. and input here or thru pm is greatly appreciated thank you.

 

Have to agreed with s4vs..why find trouble one..go get something else less problematic. Be sure the PB1 model is a 1997...it's more refine..for 1996..I'm, not sure. You can tell by the older model when you see the right side chrome tubing like kana cut off and welded dead like that.

My PB1 is model 1993. So far stil going strong. Stil ve some punch on it.... :thumb: Never regret buying it n hope it can stil last longer...

hey guys. just wanna ask. i always low rev on my bike. im like changing gears at 3-3.5rpm and i only rev up to 6rpm when im in gear 6. so does changing to thicker oil helps? but i only cleared my meter once or twice before every full-tank top up.

No lah...cheap cheap cheapo one...$45 only leh. I won't spend so much on such things la though I like those made in Japan using soild material and good Japanese chroming (saw a pair a long time ago at $160.00)...beekuz..once bike buang:cry: ..scratch olehdee..such have to change.

 

Just keep it looking good with wax and silicon and prevent rusting from salty grim rainy day wet road.

Oil thickness does not really constitute to which gear chaning at which rpm..

 

How old is your bike and what do you meant by "thicker"?...a single grade?

anybody know where got versionS going to scrap at any bike shop??? don't tell me scarp yard..

 

just had a fall.. stupid driver just jam brake.. never even consider about those behind..

 

right crash bar take slide damage.. now meter using black tape.. need to find a versionS which is going to scrap.. so that i can swap the whole meter...
