my verS reach 414 till reserve.. previous tank went up to 420+..

 

but i'm running on stock-sized tires, which is 110 front and 140 back, with 42-teeth rear sproket size..

 

I adore those bike tat can reachdmore than 400km before reserve... Mine 330km before reserve.

Oh...its a premix to your fuel..only 20ml is need and comes in a small bottle of 60ml. Every 10ml takes care of 10 litre of petrol and base on S4 fuel tank capacity..one bottle last 3 full tank. Cost is $6.50 per bottle but if you get a whole box pack...comes in 5 bottle in a single pack..each is $5.00 only.

 

Looks like it works very well for some..some..so..so..but don't know why only Kradafaw is getting a -80km from it.. ..anyway...I'm VERY sure taht's not the case ..we find out soon.

I just got My CB400 VerS.

But there is a small problem.

When I rev to 5k RPM the bike is like not respond correctly.

It refuse to to goes up and slowly. once over 6kRPM then it got better.

I rode on the highway. The bike feel funny.

From move of to just before 5K RPM the bike sound ok and good, But once it hit 5K RPM the bike a bit jurking and not going up. when i reach the top Gear the bike is around 90-100km/hr:cry:

But when I still turn on the throttle. The bike dont not respond at all.

Drop Gear and pull but the max speed I gone up is 120km/Hr.

Kind of Slow for a CB400.

Very Sad and angry.

Is there anyone who know how can i solve this problem?

I wash the carb. Do servicing. Clean my K&N filter. Change the white card ( the control unit below the RPM meter) and the Speedo meter too.

Still face the same problem.

Please anyone that can Help...

Or know who can solve this problem.

Worst is the My full tank can only reach less then 200km.

wah dude i feel for u ar .. rmb gif ur bike a chk b4 u change anything .. i learn this from ah pek ar ..

 

anyway ah pek .. my bike fuel consumption seem to be like normal even we rev alot today .. den i go pump my petrol jus nw till my usual level i pump in 2 litre or petrol while i clock 48+km .. which is a big improve to me .. thank you for everything today man .. .. nw wan to see 1 tank can last hw much ..

most likely you got the same situation as mine... probably you can remove the device for power cut...

Woah...this is one stallion that don't seem to wanna gallop Btw...reading your message...you did not mentioned anything about your clutch? Did the mechanic check and say anything about it. Sound more to me it has something to do with it. Do you know how to check?

the power i say is not fast.. is every gear u hear a drag sound then u change gear ma. 4.5k rpm like have to throttle more to get the bike up to change gear.. anyway i go to few bike shop to ask for 42 teeth rear spocket. most of them laugh or say 42 teeth is not for Ver S. Ver S is 44 or 45 teeth lei.. PB1 and Ver R then 42 teeth.. i also confuss liao. as can't change 42 to test..

 

in sinapore, most people changed their rear sprocket size to 44 or 45 coz they wanted a good acceleration when moving off. perhaps they wanna make their bike comparable to v-tec series. for some who like to widen their tires to those of v-tec, they would have changed their front 110 and rear 140 to front 120 and rear 150.

 

i would say as time goes by, most people got used to using enlarged sprocket and tires and that makes it their standard in a version S.

 

i went to a bike shop n wanted to change to 42, the boss oso luff at me saying that singapore ppl dun use 42 coz all use 44 or 45.. but i tell him i wanted the original size he oso LL sell to me..

What he meant was he had a full tank that day and then after some work and testing on his bike..he has clocked 48km on his restable trip meter in record. Later he went to refilled up to top his tank again and the reading from station pump is 2 litre.

 

What he is trying to say here is that..there was already some positive indication that what is used (fc) is 48km divided by 2 litre is = 24km/litre...compare to his previous average of 17++km/litre.

You are the oni one from Tampanese huh?..do you know how to get to SLE and all the way AMK Ave 3or not?..once at Ave 3..it either left or right..take right and you will come across AMK Ave 10 on the left...just keep going till you see lots of bikes (should be S4 all by then) parked on foot path along main road on your right hand side..and a hawker centre..or Blk 409 sign board..."Teck Ghee Square" is also a big sign board you can't missed.

 

If anyone can help with a map here..it be great.
