Hello bros, anyone know where to service ver s front brake pump? Mine the piston was stuck so pulled it out using screwdriver and damaged the rubber seal around it in the process. Now i press front brake the there will be a drop of brake fluid from the small hole in the rubber seal.

Its one of those 'customised' S4 model from SCDF I believe. Comes with Japan Steel 4-1 header (best!).

i jus bought a ver s and i kno nothing about s4... hope u guys can enlighten me =)

1) how much and where can i find the rack for e21 side panniers? i kno some might say ah boy, but their workmanship is u know i know =P

2) i see some setup with e21 slanting downwards due to the exhaust, while some position the panniers higher so as to make them look straighter, which would be ezier and more comfortable for my pillion?

3) where can i find this head/windshield? and how much is it? anyone use this b4, got review about it?

http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a20/kmjoe/sticker0.jpg

4) what are belly pan for? o.O jus cosmetic or there's actually use for it

5) i'm looking for something which can protect my leg, is there such crashbar for s4? coz my crash bar on my phantom saved me couple of times (including accidental drops, wun wan tt happen to my s4, duno got strength pick up anot =.=")... would like to have that on my s4

6) is there anyway to secure the front brakes? i heard alot of stories of stuff getting "borrowed"

7) the suspension that came with my bike is not even showa... its like some cheapo suspension, will it affect my ride? this is how it looks http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a20/kmjoe/suspensionzz.jpg

Hi,

just wondering where can I service my air filter? I have not clean it for close to 40km. I am using K&N one.

Thanks Thanks

Don't waste $s..many has asked me to do it. There is nothing really that u need to clean. The most..next time u at abike shop doing somethig, just borrow their air compressor gun air blower and blast_blast (free lah). If you have to..just mixed kerosene (85%) and soap power water (if you got $$s..go get a spray can degreaser) and scribe wif a umwanted tooth brush and rinse. After taht, left dry overnight. Before putting back...just coat it with a light layer of oil like "Singer" or fork oil...ur mother kitchen cooking corn oil oso can (it just to trapped the dust). Don't waste $$s on so call recharge kit. Anyway..the air in SIngapore road is very clean and free of flying debris and insects these days..your K&N or Simota won't need any cleaning for athousands of km...the instructtion says "50,000 miles" in in Km..that's 80467.2 kilometer!

Sometime we do that because of mental rather than technical. Just like your engine oil. You recommend us to go beyong 10km but there are still a lot wanna change before that right hehe.

Actually more than that unless you frequent West Malaysia a lot. You can find all kinds of insects and debris more often than usual. EO?..u should talk to those that comes back fro 15k-39k...LOL!

If I were u, will go ahead...should be no problem..its formulated for that kind of task..S4 or not. Touring bike less stress. Been use on a Kawa GTR Concorse before on frequent trips.

Its good that u do that as it uses both filaments...but don't stretch the usage too long.Switch over to low beam once in awhile.

Ah pek.. need your opinion..

Recently i have hearing like grinding+knocking sounds from the bike when i am riding it.. especially during low speeds n low RPMs. And when riding, i can feel like a ticking feel(something like something got stuck in the tyre but tyre is fine).

Could it be caused by a loose chain?, coz when i touch the chain it feels loose. (but i also dunno how tight it should be in the first place)

ok thks alot! =) btw my trip meter's pin is gone since previous owner, anyway to replace it?

Tough to get a replacement. Don't think they sell the stalk dial. If I were u..go claim a replacement unit from the seller.

Go check ur back wheel bearings first. Just leverage the back wheel up and grab the tire while rocking left and right. If it moves..the bearings gone liao. Do the same for the front wheel bearings but this time..rotate it..if can feel grinding..oso need replacement liao.
