The R77 is the slip on version right? Saw it on Yoshi Japan website. They also have the tri oval dual outlet st legal also.

Yeah slip on. Dual outlet? Hmm... It'll be quite nice if it's legal though.

When you mention dent, it at the mid pipe or end can?

its the mid-pipe area. Will post pics of the dent tonight.

Pillion high heals/shoes will dent the aftermarket endcans.

Stock using thicker material. So if stock can be dent by the pillion. More then likely it will dent the aftermarkets.

Only way to go is to buy my non legal 4-2-1 leo vince system. Wahahshaha nak jugak. . . Xp

Save weight go full system but to save weight on a busa. Is it a need?

Sorry dent is on the mid pipe area. For me, yes! Save weight the better. Using stock when cornering, the rear end will like also follow me "go down" which is quite dangerous. Lol...

Dont forget to post pictures of those pipes once mounted.Cheers

Yeah will do but not so soon I guess. Haha

Oh the dent on the mid pipe is stock conditions. The dent is purposely made by Suzuki to cater clearance for the foot peg.

Yo! Sorry been busy catching up on my studies before assuming my new role in the company that's why I suddenly quiet-en down.

As per my previous post, I'm seeking the inputs of fellow riders here to see if they can make it for a short riding trip to kampong air Papan on either 22/07/2012 or 28/07/2012 or 29/07/2012.

Can't make it on all 3 dates. Already got a durian trip on the 21st and going hat using and betong on the national day. Have to conserve all my riding points for these 2 trips.

Bro, removal of the TRE might help with the over rich AFR issue. But it up to you to see if you want to do that or not.

how to remove tre ar?

Its advised to either stay stock since stock is the best

Or

Juz give it to me. That will solve it

Hehehehehehe xp

Kk

I dont know that haya has a y pipe. Usually they change only the mid pipe.

Dont have to buy a pc lar but if u still want juz to feel good

Y not go tachyon n do a flashing of ecu with dyno run

Azmil Sempit

flashing of ecu does not do the same thing as a pc does right? i mean flashing of ecu is to make changes to the map if i'm not wrong.

Hope that's the case bah...

Yup. Even the wiring all that looks old too. And the TPS got the original marking, something like correction tape like that.

time to change bike. cbr400 consider?

I just went Motorworld last night and little did I know Yoshi R77 is now street legal. Asked for the price of the slip ons and guess what? It's only $1450! Think it's a promo offer though.

Anyways need to deposit 30% of the total price in order for them to order. I'm still on my stock. Thinking of changing for only 2 reasons. The weight differential and since I pillion most of the time, my pipe near the foot rest area is dented due to the weight. Sigh...

using r77 now. its illegal still as motorworld still havent tell me its legal.

they say can be legalise and waiting for LTA's apporoval. true enough i have all the documents except LTA's approval number.

all i can do is wait.

Dont forget to post pictures of those pipes once mounted.Cheers

You need to access the GPS connector. Need to lift up the fuel tank. It is on the left side nearer to the fuel tank pivot hinge. If not wrong, it should have 3 cables with one which is Pink in colour. The TRE should be in between the GPS 2 white connector. Just unplug the TRE and connect back the 2 white connector.

It can do what the PC can and can't do. It can adjust the fuel and ignition timing mapping and so much more. However you are changing the value inside your ECU. Unlike PC, when you remove it, everything goes back to stock. PC only manipulated the signal coming out of the ECU to the injector. But they will have a stock setup for the ECU. Meaning if you want to change back to stock, just flash the stock setting back.

Took my bike for a ride the very first time today.. Engine feels very jerky all the way and rather bad vibrations.. When gasing from low rpm has a weird sound, like helicopter sound.. Very jia lat.. Haha..

Anyone has encountered this problem before?

was wondering it's worth changing to brembo brake disc at the price of $1200 as i still prefer the non-wavy type..

coz my stock rotor is slighty warped and when near stop will cause violent vibrations.

btw any bro here encounter this problem also? i mean does the brake disc wear off so easily?

any other brake disc for recommendation?

Posted

Mine's worst bro.. Badly worn out.. I'm looking for stOck or galfer(wavy).. IMO, I suggest u replace with another brand new stock disc will do, since ure not keen on wavy rotors.. Brembo disc will only be perfect with the calipers and pump..

Sometimes the disc may not be the cause of the prob. In my case, the front pads that I used is a cheapo one so mech suggested to change pads and i did.

True enough, the vibrations gone liao.

a while back some forks here did mention about disc.

Its something like this

Its the materials used is important. Dont just go by brands blindly. Stainless steel is still a stainless steel.

Two days ago i stumble on a website selling other types of brake disc material.

I now understand what they mean but too bad i already bought ebc ss rotors.

My formula for living is quite simple. I get up in the morning and I go to bed at night. In between, I occupy myself as best I can.

From your pictures,i suspect the alignment either your rearset on your left is off or your mid pipe on the left is slightly bent outwards.

By adding unwanted additonal washers can bring out your rearset facing outwards.
