Do you guys got a name for your bike?

i dont have name but i talk to the bike? hope thats not weird or anything.

 

like starting her up. "how you doing my girl?"

 

taking a nice corner "you ready for this? "lets go!"

I call mine Hickeys! Name is given by her previous owner.

nt to mention tt a model name made of random letters (e.g. ybr) isnt that easy on the tongue

tends to get in the way during daily conversation

best is a 1 syllable name short and sweet

 

The problem is that, not everyone knows the name of the named bike. Imagine:

 

crazydj: "I am so gonna ride Sherry hard all night long bro!"

swiftee: "Wwwhat?..."

crazydj: "Oh, that's the name of my bike."

swiftee: "Wierdo. -_-"

 

as opposed to

 

crazydj: "I am gonna ride my SuperFour hard all night long bro!"

swiftee: "Help me to buy kopi on your way back ah! Kamsiah!"

R1 = 阿旺 aka ah wang

fazer = 肥仔, ah bui

As for me, I do have a name for my bike and I believe that the bike should reflect one's character whether good and/or lousy/weird, but for reasons that I declare personal, I'm prudent not to name it here

She even has some offspring. Todate 3 "children" in various states of DIY construction, and a couple more on the way
