So that's where it is near to? Not ready to travel that distance lah. Not enough money is bad, not enough leaves is worse.

If you're riding a bike but not calculating the 50 possibilities in the 50 meters of road ahead of you, then you're dangerous and shouldnt be on one.

Go for the saddle sore. Achievable if you doing this ride, the only delays I can foresee is at the Thai border. Do it once and it will be a memorable experience.

Anybody have done anything to reduce the 14's temperature? Maybe change to aluminum blades, change of coolant etc. Anything at all to improve.

stick aluminum foil onthe other side of fairing,so that the heat reflect directly to the alu.foil instead of the fairing.cheers.

I change to aluminum blades (Muzzy) and coolant to bel ray. Didnt feel much difference in temperature. Having a 1400cc underneath me, i doubt much can be done to reduce the sizzling heat. The only easiest way to do it is to ride fast. Start and stop at traffic light junction, the bike will still overheat.

As long as the fan runs, I am not worried about the overheating part. Just thinking how to reduce because right now the fan on all the time but the temperature does not really come down. So first concern, battery life sure shorten. Secondly, blade is made of plastic which might get bent from the heat.

Several things you can do to reduce the heat.

1. Change the hose to aftermarket ones, samco - http://www.samcosport.com/row/index.asp.

2. Change to muzzy fan - http://www.muzzys.com/catalog/index.html

3. Wrap up the exhaust headers and mid pipe with exhaust hi temperature heat wrap - look at the mass order section

I would think that number 1 option is fastest way but also the most expensive solution

Yo all,

Just spoken to Lenny from JustWheelzz..

Price for RaceShield (front cowling + headlights + front fender) as follows:

Previous Price = $285

Now Price = $285 - 20% = $228

Promotion Price = $220

Friend Price = May get slightly lower

Let me know if you guys are interested.. :)

Good to consider. If rich then don't consider. But I will only do it when the time comes for the need since it does not drastically make any diff. As for Samco, have tried it on my previous Busa. Honestly, not that much diff as well. I think the fastest and cheapest way, remove the fairings. YEAH!
