I guess, you should always give way to the faster vehicle, never mind that if you're already at the speed limit or slightly over. If someone wants to overtake you, just let him...

If you brake and his reaction not fast enough he hit you how? Ride safe. :)

that day I also kena tail gate by 1 taxi on right lane. But was turning right. To make things worse, 2 lanes allow to turn right, see him going so fast, i signal right and filter right, he follow me filter instead of overtaking me, then when I brake to turn he e-brake. I know cuz I checked my rear view mirror and he literally stopped there. I know how shitfaced they are and I try my best to give way. Insane people, driving without brains.

staying alive is more impt than staying angry/regaining pride, regardless of who's in the wrong or being an a-hole.

bikes are smaller than cars... and we are already at a major disadvantage right from the start... so we ought to bear this in mind on the roads.

heard the serious jam on the PIE currently caused by a fatal accident involving a biker. who had caused it doesnt really matter now, a life has been lost and the lifeless body still under a car and a white sheet. my condolences to the family.

stay and ride safe, pple.

TS i feel that what u did is not sth to be proud of..wats wrong with giving way even though the action of the taxi driver is not right...u could have just gave way then move back once the taxi have cleared, does it ever cross ur mind that the taxi is rushing with a valid reason...so wat if u ride a haya..its not everyday u can ride at 300km/h...

I hope that we biker......live up to our name...

May be the taxi driver is a real fxxxkxexr, but is us that must set good example..

Never throw words like to encourage younger biker to follow suit..

expecially from a haya.....

Know you potential..but don't use it this way, the world know taxI here never catch up a haya.

even if you need to act this way it, do not boast it like that, we don't really know how people expecially younger one will interpret..

Well, I've met my fair share of reckless drivers and riders. I tend to keep my speed at 105km/h on most of the parts of the expressways, I don't see myself as a road hogger due to the fact that I am already exceeding the legal speed limit by a slight margin.

If other bikes or cars wishes to overtake me but yet do not wish to leave their lane, I'll give way to them, most of the time. In the event of a tail-gater or a side sweeper, do not get angry and keep your calm. The tail gater can be annoyed by pressing the brakes lightly to switch on the braking indicator and they will slow down immediately. Eventually, they will just get frustrated and overtake you, sometimes dangerously which then there is a need to slow down when they overtakes.

The side-sweeper who are usually riders, I do not understand why do they need to do so. Is there a need to travel beyond 100km/h all the time? Or is there a strong urge to demonstrate how close you can avoid a fatal accident, especially with another innocent party? If you wish to overtake, irregardless of speed, please do so in a safe manner. Do not assume that just because others are not travelling at your speed, they are road hoggers, perhaps you are too reckless to begin with.

give way even when ur going at 150km.hr on the first lane is the right way to do if someone is faster than u...

typical mentality.. just because ur within speed limit u think u own the right to first lane and dun give way to faster vehicle...

and yes even if ur riding at 150km/hr and someone is faster than u.. U R STILL ROAD HOGGING

doesnt matter he kanna catch by TP or not.. u are still a road hogger

This is what I dont understand. I ride a bike like only 2 hours a day. But the incidence of meeting taxi driver blinking their lights, lorry drivers who just go 90km/h, crazy bikers who move like nobody business and many more are sooooo often. i am wondering why TP never meet this kind of people.

MAYBE WE SHOULD SUGGEST; HEY TP!!!!! MAYBE YOU SHOULD PUT YOUR STAFF ON A NORMAL BIKE AND STREET CLOTHING AND SEE IF YOU MEET THESE PEOPLE. THEN CAN SUMMON MORE RIGHT??? Why?? because taxi driver dont give a f about us but when see flashing lights they suddenly become kwai, kwai. Bloody hippocrates.

First and foremost, yes, you are riding one of the fastest bike on the road. Perhaps, thats why you have such a big ego that you dont give way to overtaking vehicles on an overtaking lane. A provocative middle finger for a good 15-20s is a great topping to your ice cake.

Speeding at 110kph in singapore, You may just be endangering not just yourself but others as well. Would you prefer if he were to overtake you sharply on the left? What if he did that because he was rushing for a genuine reason?

Also, you may think tapping on the brakes is a great way to get back at him. He may be thinking a hit and run with a slight dent to his left bumper may be a good idea too.

Thought i had my fair share of encountering inconsiderate road users, i dont think its right to stereotype all taxi drivers as bad drivers. They are working a hard job with long hours paying their dues. I'm sure we know how back breaking a 2 hour ride is. They are doing 8-10 hour shifts.

Just my 2 cents.

Ride safe today and live to ride another day

So what if a Haya is the fastest bike?

It really doesn't matter if you're taxiing your F-16 on the road either.

As long as someone comes up from behind in the fast lane, you give way. You stay there long enough, they'll definitely tailgate and high beam you for being inconsiderate.

You all complain about this Toyota Corolla or MPV hogging the right most lane. So you ride big and fast CL2 bike you think you have the right to hog the right lane?

Think hard. Think again. Then get the fuuck out of the way.

End of story.

i wun term it as speeding. just travelling slightly faster than the usual slower road users.

even TP rides at >110kmh. why i know, i tried to tail 3 of them at 110kmh and still lost them.. :sian:

Bike got power, power isn't there just for show unlike how some riders use their bike, use the power to put yourself out of harm's way or simply give way. Taxi posing a threat by tailgating and flashing, just filter ahead say bye bye to taxi then find some other spot to cruise.

In the end, your safety first before the opinion of others.I agree the middle finger was unnecessary, yes sometimes very tempting but do not let emotion dictate how you ride.

Cars can't filter, end of story.

i encounter the same... afew times liao....

there is once that happened on SLE at midnight... i am riding my Vmax at 110km/hr on 1st lane... a female driver came, tailgate mi and flash her high beam afew times... instead of giving her my finger, i relase my throttle bit by bit... eventually reach a speed of 50-60km/hr... haha... i envy her determination for tailgating mi at such a speed for about 5mins before i change lane to proceed for my exit... lol...

My own experience was some bugger in a black SUV, flash me eventhough got vehicle in front of me, maybe P-plate easy to bully or what. Filtered several vehicles ahead before I cruised again, few minutes later saw the mofo swerving left and right some 200-300m ahead of me. Tsk, drivers.
