Maybe most of the bro n sis notice when you going to the petrol kiosk to top up ur motorbike petrol while sitting on ur bike to top up. The crew will cut off your petrol and won't let u continues pump?

I meet this incident before be frank I was a bit angry. I asked the petrol crew to pump for me and the crew refuse. I asked why he can't pump since he can provide the service for car why he can't do it the same for the motorbikes. The crew answer me back this is the company policy.

I was wonder is that true that any petrol company policy doesn't help to pump for motorbikes?

No sitting on bike is a safety policy.

As to how safer this practice is compared to sitting on the bike, I am not sure but complying doesn't hurt. :)

As to why they pumpdon't for bikes, I very much prefer strangers not touching my bike.

A motorcycle to some, is more than a machine.

Fingers off my bike, thanks. :)

In some countries, you are supposed to remove your helmets when you go pay.

So I am not complaining about these little things.

No siting on bike while refueling is to ensure ones hv sufficient reaction time if there a spark of fire during the process.

As for they dont pump for u i think it could be this issue or they afraid it might topple ur bike. Just my guess for this.

The other day the petrol station was crowded, after topping up the petrol, i went to cashier and make my payment, the cashier faint in front of me when its my turn(saw her faint a few times... and it think is lying)

here comes the main point, was already upset that she faint infront of me and i have to restart queuing at another cashier. After payment, there's this car park beside my bike and the crew pull the hose across my bike to pump the petrol for that car, he saw me, all he did was lift up the hose for me to ride cross... I didnt ride cross, and scold and scream the crew upside down, everybody was looking at me...

that's because i just wash my bike previous night, the hose is dirty and what if the pump gun still drip petrol while taking out go across my bike...?

expect of the unexpected !!:box:

Cuz you can't be a weak ass ***** to ride.

If they made a policy for car owners to pump themselves, imagine how many would drive away with the nozzle still lodged in the tank.

i pump myself all along... be it bike or car...

feel uncomfortable for them to pump for mi...

From my point of view,is it necessary to create a scene because of what he did?

You are a lady, dont you think its better to get off your bike and confront him what was he doing and talk things out nicely?

Nobody is perfect. You screamed at him and scolded him,if i was him i will be thinking WTF is going on.I will be thinking hey i am doing you a favour here to let you pass through.

Have you thought that did it cross his mind that his action will dirty your bike and etc?

Moreover you posted saying that you did not cross over,so meaning to say nothing happended to your bike. You just assumed that it will dirty your bike and etc.

I do agree with you most likely it will happen if you cross.

Bottomline is, frankly speaking he dont deserve that treatment from you at all.

From what you posted, its so obvious your patience ran out and your bubble burst.

He became your victim for you to vent your anger on.

This is just to share and not to flame you,i am also learning to make this country a better place to live in.

I am no better than you.I hope that you will do better than me.Cheers

creating a scene is to get ppl attention so that he dont do it again~. Just as simple as that.

I would rather pump myself then let them pump, cos they might not handle well and drip petrol over my tank then I might haf to spend more money to respray my tank?

Ok noted.Dont need to bother what i posted.I had obviously wasted my time and effort.

It shows clearly your level of maturity and understanding.

FYI i will never create a scene to gather people's attention to prevent him from doing the same act again.

I always pump myself be it when I ride or drive.

Well, I don't see the need to ask for help.

If they offer their help, it's a different story.

Anyway, if you know that the petrol station is full, we should at least move our bike after pumping so the next bike or car can use.

Just my thoughts

hmm, i pump petrol while sitting on my bike, no one say anything leh.

to me, it's more balanced?

and i prefer pumping myself, whether car or bike. some people tend to be very rough with the gun.

February 2011 - March 2012 = Phantom TA 200

March 2012 - August 2013 = Suzuki Impulse 400

Present = BMW (Bus, MRT, Walk)

Same here, especially you can pump as much as you want especially in JB.

We will be more carefull, not to let it overflow.
