6k rpm to warm up at a hdb car park? That's ****in noisy bro, 2 stroke somemore. I would throw eggs if its an everyday thing..

6k rpm is really not that loud at all. and its less than 1 sec, its not even 1/3 of the throttle... sigh

so i can only stay around 3 or 4? zzz

Maybe you wanna try spray different colour and change plate number. Get to know your neighbourhood riders, talk to them, listen to stories. And in return, we help each other look out for vandals. Go easy on your bike man..

1. I just sprayed my bike when I bought it.

2. I cant possible know alot of neighbourhood riders because ijust bought the bike 1 week ago and started riding then.

3. Alreayd told u, I'm already very lenient with my bike, I dont see how my bike is way too loud, 1000cc bike easily parked my lot earlier just now and left his helmet on the pillion seat, his bike properly 2x louder than me.. sigh

Well to me it is, for a hdb car park. Not as loud or noisy as other bikes doesnt mean its not noisy.2 strokes are generally noisy.

You can try to ease on the throttle when warming up. Up to you to decide. It's your bike. Cause from what I know, veh vandalism is mostly due to noise. Ppl trying to sleep, your bike so noisy. Some people choose to tell you nicely. Others can't be bothered and **** up your bike.

The spraying of colour and changing of plate number is a simple way of deceiving others that the bike belongs to someone else. Anyway, it's your call.

I cant possibly spray it again because my paintwork is new, less than 2 weeks, but I think I will change to a less vulgar plate no. I never liked the FU starts.

Not everyone schooling like you. Morning 8 to 5. Some ppl do work shifts. And aft a long night shift, come back want to have a good sleep kena wake up by noisy bikes. And its not pleasant, I kena before.

Ppl just giving you suggestions but u just shunning away what everyone say. End of the day, it's your bike, your call. Could be noise, could be previous owner offend ppl, could be you owe loan shark money.. who knows.

Change number plate would prolly be last resort. And if all else fails.. move house. Now that's what I call passion for biking.

I never offended anyone in my neighbourhood, unless you say its noise, but 1000cc bike move around my house at 2x louder. I'm going to camp too once my holiday comes. Also going to offer 150$ for any eye witlessness, will consult with my investigator tmr morning

I won't switch bike, I had already spent a long time getting used on the bike. :S

Going to install an alarm too, with cover.

IMO, i think 6k rpm is really too high. i used to ride an SP and i dun rmb i throttle till 6k to warm up my bike, the most only 2-3k. i dun think it's ur bike's age that is causing the problem, probably u need to do some settings/tunings to solve the warming up problem

Well... Maybe is really ur pipe sound irritated someone at the wrong place and wrong time??

Anyway just to share my side of my story, i also like u... but not as "jialat" as u i guess...

After i got my bike, with first 6 months still ok, but after that the "bad luck" start to come in also...

With next 6 month, my bike got scratch on fuel tank 2 times, someone drop my bike at wheellock carpark area, broke my mirrors and scratched my fairing badly, seat got scratched by cats, box got broke in by thief, jacket and glove stolen....

At first feel damn heart pain and feel like give up like u...But slowly just get numb to it, see new scratch, just have that "Sian, got new scratch again, lol" den i just ignore it, till now alr kinda numb alr... Anyway just get use to it, just part and parcel of having a bike i guess, everyone have their fair share of story, some get their bike stolen so those are even worser than u so just take it with a light heart?

At least some people get my point. Try pull choke instead of just ramming to 6k rpm. You do know what a choke is right?

change your number plate, respray your bike.

before you turn in to your neighbourhood estate, kick to neutral, kill engine and push your bike to the motorcycle lot.

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car

and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.

Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall,

torque is how far you take the wall with you.

1 thing I don't understand, why need to rev until 6k? or even rev at all? Bike hard to start not because its 10 years old leh, there's a problem with ur bike.

Want to warm up let it idle la, that's it what, somemore 2 strokes don't need to warm up so much, ur EO don't have much to circulate around...

Posted

If a 30 yr old RXZ able to maintain idling, why not a 11yr old SP?

Just need to do some repairs and tuning..

I dun think it's the plate.. Else my friend's FU748 sure scrape long long time ago...

i dun think its guanwei revving too high, the school incident its obvious some S go play prank cos there were 2 SPs mirrors broken, at ur house area most prob its some guys see ur bike looks new with p plate so they assume u r a newbie and decided to lay their hands on ur bike's parts, i have a fren super 4's endcan stuff with wooden block before, also living near chinese garden, recently i went for late night supper at jurong east blk 3XX (also near chinese garden) i realised quite a few act pai kias dumb S smoking and playing ard that area, lurking under void deck and making fools out of themselves.... some of them are riders, their GIN NAs are all those dumb kids having holiday now so they can stay out late at nights for the whole of this month, not saying its their doing cos i nv saw it with my eyes but yea its possible that this type of dumb S scratched ur bike and stole ur foot rest.

FU748!! Hahaa...wah..power number!

Yea i think if so many coincidences, could be someone aiming you. Specifically you. Maybe hire Private Investigator if you really wanna nail the guy? Though it will cost you tho. See how bad you wanna get the culprit. If not i think the others gave very good advice:

1) Minimise your "perceived" irritation to others. No harm to be careful, since you kena so much already

2) Get cover

3) Get alarm

4) Park near security or at least visible places, your CCTV is a good spot.

5) Try befriend some fellow bikers, ask if they kena anything, ask them to pool together just to keep an eye out for suspicious characters.

6) Report police about frequent vandalism? Not sure about how effective this will be.

7) Get a PI
