is there anyway to track where exactly is the spot which the summon was issued?

(i kinda wanna know where exactly was the place i was caught speeding!)

~lenlen~ :cheeky:

And everytime I look, I thought you were there..

But, it was just my imagination.

I don't see it anymore, 'cause I see through you now.

What's stopping me? I get stuck again..

Is it really okay? It's never okay for me..

What's got into me? I get lost again..

Is it really okay? It's never going to be..

Well Guys, here's what i do when i found out the bike i got had 3 previously unpaid summons- not by me of course... i checked with the website and print out the summon date n time, also made a copy of my log card(showing the effective date of ownership).

Bring these two along with u whenever u go malaysia(of couse with a copy of valid road tax and insurance and drving license). put all these documents in a zip lock back and store under your seat so u will never forget to bring.

Ride with no worries. If stopped, produce all these documents and they cannot do anything to u as u have proven ur case that it's not you whom commited the offence.:goodluck:

Well, does this apply to those recycle number that you used from another bike and the summon happen way before the 1st reg date of your current bike? The Rilek system seem to have the records but the JPJ PDRM one doesnt seem to have.Weird.

Anyone know what will happen if we do not pay the summons within 14days? Will Msia TP issue a warrant of arrest against us? Or they'll just bring us back to the station to compound the offence on the spot, next time we bump into them - Meaning just 'escort' not 'arrest'.

Johor police out in force to catch S'porean motorists

By MARIA ALMENOAR Sun, Jan 03, 2010 The Straits Times

MOTORISTS heading across the Causeway may want to pay any outstanding Malaysian traffic summonses online before heading off, or have extra cash on hand, as the Johor police are out in force in a bid to clear their books of unpaid fines.

Singapore vehicle owners are said to owe over RM100 million (S$41 million) in fines for about 350,000 outstanding traffic summonses, some of which date back to 1990, according to Malaysian police officials.

Some motorists here are said to owe several thousand Malaysian ringgit worth of fines from multiple unpaid tickets.

Over the last few days, roadblocks have been set up at different locations around the state, including just outside the Sultan Iskandar Customs, Immigration and Quarantine Complex to which the Causeway leads.

Yesterday morning, Johor police put up another roadblock in Pasir Gudang.

Motorists found to have outstanding fines have to hand over their passports to the Traffic Police and are escorted to police stations to pay their fines. Their passports are returned to them once they have paid.

Johor's Traffic Police head, Superintendent Raveendran Tharumalingam, told The Straits Times yesterday: 'We are still evaluating the operations, and depending on the results, we will decide how many more weeks we will continue with it.'

He could not say how many motorists had been caught so far, but added that his officers carried out these checks for unpaid fines several times a year.

Motorist Saiful Azam Abduallah, 41, who was stopped at a roadblock on Tuesday, told Berita Harian he had been told to pay RM300 for a 2007 summons - he was caught speeding in Negri Sembilan.

'They gave me a discount and I only had to pay RM200 before I got my passport back,' he said.

Motorists can visit http://www.myeg.com.my; http://www.rilek.com.my and http://www.eservices.com.my to check on their fines and pay them.

They can also visit any Malaysian traffic police office to pay their fines.

With every good wishes

Mark C.

ha, i "saw" you yesterday... not really you... but the police... didnt really notice you. While pass thru I was wondering how come the TP so on one, check for bike that in the queue, maybe for previous summons or old summons. A bit worry as mine also got previous summons, but by previous owner.

go in and out of msia also long queue....

I accept with information: they are very smart now because they want to see your NRIC instead of your driving license so that they can take down the rider's particulars, especially the residential address. then they make you sign on the summon which means you admit to the offense commited and that you agreed that this case can't be appealed.
