How many helmets do you have? And what brands?

Hello riders,

 

Just curious on the number of helmets everybody has. I currently have 2. A hjc one and an arai one but I saw the new arai helmet and feel like getting. It's quite a waste of money since I only have 1 head and not 3.

 

But they look so nice! So wondering if anyone of you are like me, collecting helmets hahaha

I have 3 helmets simply cos I haven't thrown away my old ones. My pillions use them sometimes, but I only use my Shoei flip up. Do I count as 1 or 3?

i scared if scratch, drop, etc den heart pain leh.. although in the 1st place heart and pocket already very pain for buying the helmet.. the feeling is like u bought a brand new bike and few days later u drop the bike

i used to have 2, both HJC. 1 for myself and 1 for my EX-gf. Sold off the ex gf one but realised it was nicer design and fit was better cause it was M instead of L. The double timing biatch can go for all I care.

 

Now considering to get open face for nearby kopishop ride.

 

Now another question is how OLD is your helmet. mine is 2 years old.

In total ard 8 helmets.. Mostly half face and 2 ff.. Even have super old helmet from my dads motor siao era.. for daily riding I prefer half face.. I have the old tourcross without peak.. Any idea if sold separately and where can I repair new pads?

I gt 4. MFizz , Evo Spare helmet, GPR Lousy Pillion helmet and AGV k3 Full face helmet... Got 1 more kena stolen... Haha

I have 4. 3 FF and 1 open face. My daily wear is my MHR FF. A Mfizz flipup for my GF. A HJC R-Pha10 for don't know what use. And a open face incase need to pillion other ppl.

 

I love my MHR FF simply because I can just dump in on my bike without securing it. Waiting for ppl to steal it so that I have excuse to wear my HJC full time. Always wanted to retire it but throw away like sayang.

 

Anyway, I noticed if helmet don't use often, the foam or "leather" looking coating at the bottom of the helmet will peel off or disintergrated.

6+.. 2FF, 1Mfizz Flipup and 1 ff4. Not sure how many open face i have, all rotting in the storeroom. Some already given/thrown away, etc.. but still will walk into the storeroom and see open face from my early days of riding.

• Running/Jogging shoes = Fullface

• CrossTrainer = MX/Motard

• Sports Causal = Modular?

Which is lesser than the number of shoes I have so I have a couple more to go. Hehehhee

I only have 1 helmet lol - still using the same cheap open face helmet that I got from the moto shop way back when I bought my first bike (cbr150). Gone thru class 2a with the same helmet. Will be getting a new one and maybe another once I get my class 2 bike.

Ya I hear also heart pain. But say if you need your helmet protection won't you prefer your arai than the others?

Only ve 1 hic FF now. In e past when riding s4 an before, i wore a simple open face. Once upgraded to cls2, maybe e helmet padding old so very loose. Nearly flew off and only e strap stopped e helmet. and also ever since cls2 my safety awareness went up, so i will only wear FF from now on.

 

But i think get 2 and wear alternate days makes sense. Likewise i ve 2 set of e head cover which helps in comfort and reduce sweat and smell to e helmet and also 2 pair gloves. Sweat too much, dirty or rain will swap. Maybe can do e same for helmet.

 

But i think if i get use to a helmet and like e comfort then will likely use 1 only even if ve many. :/
