Unprovoked & Uncalled for aggressive riding by some small cc bikes

i suspect some of these aggressive small bikes have yet encounter accidents or might have small ones so they not know the pain..

 

juz like those bikes hurrying to save the few mins on the connecting bridge from sg to jb..save those few mins won't get u anywhere & worse accident ownself & suay caren off some innocent speed abiding motorists..

 

fell off my s4 twice & its painful..can't imagine with bigger bikes

Just encountered it this mornin at 1am just entered sg from jb. Was maintaining at 90km/h on 2nd lane. Then encountered these two bikes an rxz with pillion and a KR road hogging at 60km/h having a conversation. Couldn't overtake left cos theres a huge truck, so i waited for right traffic to clear before overtaking. Signalled Accelerated and overtake and go back into 2nd lane. Wasn't like revving excessively or being an A Hole by overtaking very close to handlebar. Barely 5 secs into my lane. Suddenly i noticed bright lights of the high beam from a KR and before you know it, hes like barely 10cm from my handlebar to my left and giving me a staredown. And preventing me from exiting into KJE.

 

Im like wtf? Like seriously wtf?? If u think the roads is yours and yours alone and nobody can overtake you safely, get off the bloody road!

Scary topic. Do ride safe. If decide to take things into own hands, it would be taking on unnecessary risk. :/ only encounter 1 time whereby my rear wheel lock. Thankfully manage to stay up. E rest is i already c them coming and since i expected it, no surprises or shock.

 

if i encounter again e case where i could only jam brake causing my real wheel lock and had to pray, i would just report it to TP. Although i may also kanna becoz i was LS, but i will still do it. Becoz i rather pay fine then die.

Good move. Yrs being a heavier bike he had no choice but to concede. I would hv probably feinted to sideswipe him.

 

Of course if he had a pillion, I would've braked and gone behind and ard him. I don't wanna endanger innocent pillions.

but think of it i think i will bump onto them everyday from wdls to tuas forget it...if not i dont know how many will fall...

even kips also will chase me n rev at me just because i overtook him on his right on the right lane.

he fold mirror, hogging, no headlights, its at nite along SLE btw...i chased him just to ask him to check his freaking mirrors.

damn...1000cc bike wit box does not equal to slow... dont waste ur time telling ur pillion ur super kips can tia a litre bike...

I would only say, expect of the unexpected; that would keep you alert every now and then.

 

Have the habit of looking at mirrors(i have this habit after I went to malacca, cos need to keep checking to see if my buddy is still behind me or not)

Its smaller cc bikes more often because they have little pulling power. Need to keep up the speed to maintain momentum, especially with a heavy pillion. (rider has rush hour attitude)

wa.. ts i was like you but i didnt know what to do. that happen to me when i JUST pass my license JUST take out my bike.

f**ker with girlfriend cut so near me @ like 40km/h, he overtake me already he still clutch in and whack 3 times.

during that time i was so angry my whole body heated up and i didnt know what to do..

well i did thought of chasing him kick him and his bike down with his girlfriend seriously.

but no la.. instead i just slowdown and go other way. motherf**ker his family never teach him manners one. I think maybe they see p plate they want taunt.

 

Hi 5! Same as you. I think it's my 3rd to 5th day after gotten the bike.. I remembered clearly.. I was riding with my pillion along kallang road towards Geylang..

 

I had a "racing number" of 54 (till this date).. So this guy, RXZ see my bike and rev up and down.. pek chey..

Now, I'm hoping to see this kind of riders so that I can say, don't play play..

 

But.. I just saw one yesterday! Pusa... I was "following" this scrambler since he ride fast. I meant follow, not to disturb.. around 2~4 car length away..

KPE to PIE... Than come one crazy Pusa that overtake me sharply and the scrambler.. Decided to give chase.. He lane split and exited Paya lebar and turn into circuit road wherelas I'm going to ah chiong aka planet.. conclusion.. He decided to play even if he's going in accident.. I can't.. I have a family to take care..

I dont understand how people can rides at 90km/h at the 2nd/3rd lane.

2nd Lane, usually lorries speeding at 70km/h and vans going at 70 max.

3rd lane, heavy vehicle going at 40-60km/h. So tell me how did you guys manage to go 90 safely?

Speedometer must be something wrong.. or you are using 2B bikes speedo?

Usually while lane-splitting, those that go very slow are those around 40+ 50+ uncles, maybe they scared so go slow, but that end up slow everyone else down and when cars at left and right travelling at same speed, it can be quite scary because i'm at the uncle's mercy, like boh beh zhao feeling a bit. But i also don't think it's right to pressure them, so i just maintain behind them then find safe opportunity to cut into the lane then overtake them if possible.

 

There's once, there was a BMW tourer with large side boxes in front of me. He was having difficulty lanesplitting and kept having to slow down, stopping sometimes. He noticed me behind and he shifted to the left at the next possible opportunity so i can overtake. As i passed him, i waved a thanks at him. Not everyone is a bad egg, there are nice riders too.

 

But i got kena before a damn nasty one. I was travelling on lane 2 on PIE at 2am around 110kmph, there was almost no traffic. Then i saw headlights in my mirrors on lane 1, but seems to be closing very very fast and coming into my lane. The next thing i know, this GSX1000 cut ahead of me very very close like at the most 1m distance. He cut in front of me then jammed break, clutched in and gave me 2 blast of his exhaust. Then he sped away. That bloody idiot...caused me to jam brake a bit and swerve to avoid him. But i had the last laugh, cos about 3km down, i saw him again, stopped at the roadside with 2 TP bikes. I purposely went to the lane beside the shoulder and slow down to 40kmph and wave... then i resume normal speed and moved off, happy like a bird.

But I must say some riders are just so inconsiderate, knowing they are holding people up and still die die dont let ppl overtake. And try and ride out of their limits to block the faster bikers. Later try crash and die, become the back riders problem.

If e jam is very jialat, i'll find e nearest exit n find my way to my destination rather than to hold back other riders lane splitting coz some riders likes to tailgate, no patience to allow me to find a safe gap for me to move in n give them space to overtake... It happens b4, tis bike with female pillion, weave in n out of heavy traffic along CTE then tailgating very close behind me... I feel pressured sia, juz as i was about to find a space so dat i can get out of tis dangerous situation, skali it happens... A car juz closed in to e white lines n i've to brake to avoid collision.. I glimpsed at my side mirror n saw e rider n pillion already on e floor.. Stopped my bike, on e hazard light, stopped e traffic n help e rider to push e bike to e road shoulder...
