the bike lots in PS oso v.lousy. its at the corner of the carpark n only bikers will go to that end. so anything happening, no one will c it less the ones parking there. n the car owners wun even bother to look at them lor.

n somemore the parking there is free. so wat do u expect the management to do? they can just say u park at ur own risk. they earn nothing from us so do u think they will do something about it? i doubt so.

yeah, quite true. since they provide free parking, they couldnt care less if anything happens to the bikes over there.

anyway, if u notice, think there's a sign stating the management won't take any responsibility for whatsoever loss and damage. so just take preventive measures..

there is a high possibility that the thieves are actually working there... i've seen those teenagers working for the supermarket there looking for trolleys wandering around the carpark...

i always tried to be careful there. just about a month ago, i saw this cashcard in the IU of a scooter and i just plugged it out and dropped into the helmet hanging on the bike. hopefully the rider didnt lose his card.

next time i sure want to drive a dirty rusty beat up old truck.. then paint on the tail-board.. I have claimed insurance on 99 tail-gaters. Are you the 100th? :cheeky:

I am very surprise that bikers find this car park prone to thief.

I never park my bike there before but I used to drive into this car park and finds that it is always very full.

Always see cars turning round and round looking for a place to park.

Such a busy car park also have thief stealing on bikes? :faint:

It doesn't make any difference whether a motorcyclist has the right-of-way or not, the rider is the one most likely to get hurt.

when i got back i found a screw on my foot rest!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i when ard my bike but found no sign of thieve unscrewing my bike....

shldnt be out of no where a screw just nice drop from the sky and drop on my foot rest... so i suspect that so call thieve had unscrew something from someone bike who had park next to me n place it on my foot rest conveniently...

Malls security management system + our police + cctv footage + investigation = zero.

My experience in Marina Square about 2 years ago. My bike was parked right in front of a security camera with cashcard in IU. Came back, card stolen. Went to security office. Personnel there show be footage of the a guy on a bike stopping to steal my card. The mall security officer say I need to make police report before they can release more.

I made report at the Bedok North Police station.

Investigation carried out.

Feedback came back via phone from the investigating officer: Sorry, we can not find anything to pin the theft.

Case in point: Don't pin your hopes on Malls security management system + our police + cctv footage + investigation.

Our wonderful guys in blue will just say: "Don't leave your card in bike" DUUHHHHHHHHH.
