wires gettin loose here and there quite common...i used to get dat too. watz scary is it might not be diagnosed correctly sometimes and u end up tearing into everything and changing a ton of parts and still get the same prob...

Signal on itself...Went to bikeshop and dealer, their reply is" you try change this part lor, if cannot try another part"

Thanx for the advice... will most probably try rewrapping the seat.. if not, gotta buy new seat already...

 

tok bout the seat..i have a spare of original seat for sale. v.gd condition. it looks like a single seater..dunno wat it call.

lol yeah ask me how i know haha...it takes an experienced and responsible mech who is REALLY keen on helping us rather then those who dun bother to think about the issue. changing parts for u requires less mental strain and effort and reaps more monetary benefits...as compared to finding the loose screw and in the end juz tighten and earn a little...maybe not even earning. on the other hand, a factory manual will also help...

Yeah I went to Eugene. Went there the 2nd time last Fri. Seat was wrapped in plastic sheets, the top layer was plastered with Silicon Gel before wrapping... Eugene mentioned that that's the best he can do to try and waterproof a seat. If still cannot waterproof, there's nothing he can do already....

 

 

 

 

Dude, how long did Eugene take to rewrapped your seat for you and how much did it cost? I may want to add a little more cushion to mine. Did you go on a weekend or weekday? Pls advice. Thanks.

For rewrapping, need 1-2 days... unless you be the first customer of the day and he is free... but still abit tough cuz he need to sew up the design etc... My rewrap cost me $80 if i remember correctly. Go weekday better.

while i do understand that personal styles remain as such.

I would not advise you to convert sporty footpegs to floorboards or even forward controls. It'll look awful (read : stupid - looking)
