I've officially disconnected the battery from my Iron. Guess will not be riding it for sometime. How long can the battery tahan? 1 month without riding still ok not?

Ya half cap..... I think I will hv to look for another helmets... dun know when will see the whites again on the road...

am using 49 states Screaming eagles.... everytime I reach my MSCP.. car alarm start to activate whenever I pass by those cars parking there...

Bro i suggest you get a portable battery charger if u are disconnecting your battery from your ride for a certain period of time, the battery need to be maintain at certain min voltage. If it drop below the min, your battery will damage.

better to invest in a battery tender if u r not going to ride most of the time and for such long durations... harley batt r just too ex to go to waste like this...

TWdude26, i'm interested cos i jus did the touring air shocks swap for the rear and lowered the bike 1".

The rear's nice and comfy but the front feels real harsh.

 

Does your mod have the same function as the intiminator that i read about in xlf?

It's sounds like a super bang-for-the-buck mod.

Any issues if i have the progressive drop-in fork lowering kit installed?

Hey guys, I'm considering either a V&H Shortshots or a Python Throwbacks for my sporty. Anybody can shed any light on which pipe is better in terms or performance and sound? Wouldn't want smth too loud. Currently on Python 3 pipes but wish for smth louder with more punch.

hi guys......really need a set of mirrors for a 2000 rdking..... my right side simply just wont stay at its position....and when i say it wont stay... i mean it is basically hanging vertically instead of horizontal.....so if u have a pair of stock mirrors....or even jsut the right side... pls pm me..... thanks....

The V&H shortshots are too loud, even with quiet mufflers, and it's not a bass-loud but irritating high-end since the pipes are short. Don't know about the Pythons.

What is battery tender? I charging device that supplies some current to the battery?

I totally agree. Many people get it coz of the looks only, but I really -hate- how it sounds!

Which pipes sound nicer is very subjective to individual taste. I for one love the 49 states sound but it's not that loud compared to other pipes. It sits pretty quiet at idle but it's bassy and aggressive at revs. You can go Youtube and search some clips with the sounds of pipes on their Sporties... Best is to meet up personally and hear them yourself
