recently went to my friend's house for mahjong session.. parked my bike at a multi-story carpark and kena scratched on the tank... a long scratch from the cap to the sides..

 

thinkin of goin for either repaint or tank bra...

 

But not sure which would be better... any advise?

Even if u going to get a tank bra to cover up, i would still advise u to patch up the scratch to prevent rusting.

i did respray of e tank before, at bedok industrial park there. patch n laquer oil tank, ard $40. think after at get a bra is a good idea, but jus hope e bra dun get stolen.

Wat I've learned...Some people vandalize because they're offended by you on the road...some not happy cos your bike very the nice....and worst...some not happy becos you park at their spot... My cousin's car got scratched everytime she park at this particular spot..

 

These blardy people no brains...wanna to own the parking lot?? but no money to buy bungalow.... go cheap skate way..scratch people vehicle..

If only we cud catch these people red handed...let them noe vandalism carries a heavy punishment.

can check if can get that particular portion touch up. but do up the whole is better of cos. get a tank bra to protect is a good idea suggested. but got itchy hands scratch the tank, sure got itchy hands to do somthing to the tank bra in future... best is to cover ur bike. even they wanna do something oso need to take out or cut the cover.

 

if talk about offend, i think alot of cars offended we bikers!!! esp taxi... n those think they drive car n we shd let them 1st bcos we r bikers?? we oso pay tax lor. only they pay more cos they get to travel in a shelter n air con n blow us? no ettique esp drivers...

 

if parking at a particular slot oso ganna scratched, i think the car that frequently parked in the bike lot shd b trashed to bits n pieces. park the wrong place some more.

they respray the whole tank or just touch up ??

 

so ur white tank with red wings paintjob cost $40 only ??
