Enjoy your rides to work or around Singapore for the next few days till Monday comes around.

Many business establishments and factories are still closed for the holidays... which explains the light traffic conditions.

All hell is going to break loose again this coming Monday. :faint:

it's usually the sudden acceleration that cause the chain to snap.

just ride smoothly..

today while riding!

sorry to the rider bro FTxxxxX travelling along TPE at abt 11am.

i wasn't trying to act garang or lace with u, was in a rush and this mofo driver hogging lane 1, i was merely frustrated with him, to the extend i was riding with 1 hand - boredom.

NOT trying to taunt u with 1 hand riding at all, coz eventually u ride faster than me and i did not "reciprocate" by qionging whatsoever.

hope u see this. -peace-

PS: that's one down side of wearing safety gear - lacer think u wanna lace with them.. :faint:

today while riding, very pleasant no jam! but at amk ave 1 exit, was btw 2 cars at red light in lane 2.5. when lights turned green, i moved off into lane 2, car on the left cut into lane 2 while turning, almost banging into me. braked and swerved to the right to avoid him. good mood today, fingers didnt reach for the horn. but he really deserved one long loud horn. after that he cut into lane 1 swiftly and zoomed off before the next traffic light turned amber. he should have just kept to his lane la, lane 3 infront also empty. zzz clear cut 3 lanes to 3 lanes. maybe hes that kind not happy about bikes squeezing btw lanes to get to the front.

@JackOhJack: no ang pow this morning. but just now on my way to holland, i was coming off the traffic lights in front of the cars...then had to do quick mirror adjustment...then look up and saw there were two ghosts on the overhead bridge with that fantastic speed camera. quick glance on my clocks and i'm doing 65kph or so. it was a 60kph stretch...maybe got ang pow there.

of course there was the usual tail gater and the usual fellas who get so close to me like i was their long lost brother or something. oh well...another day on the road :)

if you're talking about thomson-lornie-farrer-queensway stretch. morning after rush hr, always alota white ghosts. when the jam clears and those late for work are speeding. quite alota places 60kmph. in fact, i think the entire stretch. +10 is safe la. even if kena, also warning at most for first time. not forgetting speedo errors. esp the flyover just past jap association, where the downgrade encourages speeding. oh, and the OH bridge just where lornie starts, coming down the flyover from thomson. white ghosts morning and afternoon, post and pre rush hour respectively, facing BOTH sides at times. lornie is 70 i think? they're prolly out to nab those +20 or more, easier to make the violation stick.

on the way back from sch, KJE, came across a bird which had an upset tummy after eating a spider. i think.

was bumming along at a decent clip. then felt an almighty smack of something on my upper right arm and chest area. when i stopped at a traffic light after exiting, noticed a dark brown streak on the tank, and a splotch on my shirt and arm.

got hom to clean it, and spotted a spider, in the middle of a brown splatter on my MC reservoir. dead smack in the centre, itty bitty thing with legs all curled up.

it's possible that the spider was hanging on for the ride and got bombarded by the bird poo. kudos to it for hanging on at grey speeds, if it was there first.

my guess, is that some bird ate it and it didn't agree with the bird, so, was explosively expelled. can't be that the bird was done with it, because it would be digested elsewise.

at least the rest of the day wasn't as shi**y!

Smile! Tomorrow will be worse.

 +5kph shd be ok. think the hearsay is anything within +10kph they'll serve warning letters. +20 then worth the trouble to send ang pow to u.

maybe u can have a plate saying "Im not ur long lost brother!!!" or something.

those 2 spots i consistently see the OH bridge ghosts. morning, typically 10+am. afternoon, ever seen them as early as 1pm. towards queensway, there's a big tree near the teagarden@ridout, there also have. then all the underpass with overhead bridge just after the underpass, also likely to have. they wait for you to chiong down and snap your photo just as you emerge into their view, still going fast, before you can see and react.

:faint: u some more go and speculate on the possibilities while cleaning up?

curious mah, as to how come will have spider there. haha. and it's not because never clean bike! washed just before CNY! and regular morning pre-ride warmup/walkaround, also never see, else i would have cleaned it.

if it was a giant tarantula, i'd be more concered about the size of the bird poo which was carrying it on the way down. imagine the bird that ate it. bought toto today, haven't check.

the spider had the ride of his life! haha :o
indeedy, eaten by bird, went for a skydive, then splattered by passing veh. what else coulda gone wrong eh?

True dat..

Few weeks ago my friend and few of his friends were riding, minding their own business.

Then came along this "Mat Rape" with his SP and started blowing at them while riding beside and sped off.

Karma then bit the douchebag in the arse when his chain snapped in the middle of the road!

drivers who are non-riders need to understand how it's like to be on two-wheels, IMO.

on my way to work, traffic was starting to slow down :sian:. kept to my lane, and kept a big distance between myself and the car infront. but the distance not too large (~1.5 car length), just enough buffer for me to brake if the car infront suddenly slows down. for no reason kena high beam and tailgated by this red car. kena horn summore. checked mirror but saw that i not obstructing anyone. so just carried on. then the car that tailgated me swerve out to the right most lane, i looked at the driver, she looked back at me, for a good few seconds.

after that, shan't say that it's karma. car infront of her stepped on the brakes and she didn't noticed. bham ! all that happened in split second. hey lady, i hope you had an early start to the morning.

come to think of it, was i even road hogging ? it's not like the road was so clear ... hmm ..

and during dinner, the food server kept topping up my drinks like asking for me to go to the toilet. regretted not using the toilet before i left. and on the way back on AYE, felt like peeing. wanted to drop by somewhere to ease, but where? scrambled to look for a toilet. darn, if i were a guy, i would just stop by a rain shelter (it was raining anyway) and eased myself behind the bushes.

dear STALKER on SGBikes.com ,

YOU CAN SUCK MY MIDDLE FINGER DEEP DEEP !

regards,

yours truly.
