Saw a taxi stopped at a chevron beside BKE-SLE exit. Wedged into the road divider was a custom matte black RX-K smashed into pieces. Two LTA MP3 scooters were on scene.

 

Without more details I can't say who is in the wrong but given the usual attitude of cab drivers cutting into bikes' path on purpose...

THIS IS AN INTERESTING ONE!!

 

was riding on road when suddenly,

you guys know how taxi drivers drive..

 

o well, a Nissan GTR 32 was beside me.

i was on the extreme left and he was on the middle lane la..

so this taxi driver out of no where zoom and you know la..

so poor nissan driver JAMMED HIS BRAKES!!! so hard that

i could her the tyres calling out and he almost kissed the taxi by

like a few inchs away?!

 

the very next moment the nissan started to horn like crazy.

and the taxi driver did the same thing back. :faint:

and then...

 

THE MOST EXCITING PART!

 

GTR KINDA SEEMS LIKE HE DROPPED HIS GEAR AND ZOOOM

in front of the taxi and JAMMED HIS BRAKES allowing the taxi to

hit him from the back. YES GUYS! HE REALLY HIT!!! REALLY REALLY HIT!!

WOAH SERIOUSLY..MY HERO!!!!!

 

hmmm I find it pointless... it might create multiple collision. God bless them. Luckily its cage against cage, if there's biker around wouldn't be nice le.

yeah, saw it too.. the way the bike was lying on the edge ot the filter lane. plus cab stopped in chevron marking, think one tried to cut out last minute (to get out of BKE to SLE), while the other was in lane 3.

 

hope the rider is ok.

i caught a glimpse of it while going to JB last night from SLE. didn't know a bike was involved..

I was riding my bike during night time at abt 80km/h. Even though its not so fast, its enough to make me shiver all the way. Omg no wonder i saw bikers always wear wind breaker....Epic Fail!

is it? i saw flashing lights and what looked like a stationary sonata at the filter lane from BKE-SLE at about 1215am.. couldn't really see much cos i was entering BKE(Johor) from SLE..

Today-

 

Found new route to work, evading BKE, PIE and CTE and Thomson Rd jams. Lots of traffic lights, yes, but that's why no one uses this route! No ERP too.

 

Last night's "Bollywood outing group" activities improved my traffic awareness somewhat.

really dislike taxi drivers. they drive like their grandfathers own all the roads and all other road users are idiots!

 

was in a cab today and the uncle placed his newspaper on the passenger seat next to him.

we had to stop by 4 to 5 red lights and we are always in the 2nd position, behind the 1st car at stop line. every time we stop at a red light, he would start reading his papers. the light will turn green and the car in front already move off long ago and he still reading!! on the 1st & 2nd time, i was abit paiseh to remind him cos didn't wanna be so busybody but by the 3rd time, i was really pissed and he still bo-chap....i reminded him for at least 3 more junctions that, "uncle, green light already!! pls move!".........whats the big story man? can't he wait till he reaches his kopitiam for kopi before he reads the papers?

 

such idiots share our roads everyday.

i make it a point to signal other road users to on their headlights at night if they are not on, whenever possible.

 

help to make the roads safer..

 

of course, do it only when you are in a safe position to do so. do not endanger yourself..

Last night while riding, at a junction during a red light along Punggol road, I was waiting for the lights to turn green before I can make a U-turn, I saw another Phantom rider, on the oncoming side riding without lights. So I on and off my headlight to signal the rider. THe rider then fiddle with the controls abit and got the headlight on!

 

Then the lights turn green and I gave a thumbs up, then the car behind go and horn me! Cannot see got on coming traffic is it, how to U-turn? So I use both hands point at the Phantom rider riding pass and shadow it to show that got oncoming traffic. Then after the bike passed then I did my U-turn.

 

After the U-Turn I caught up with the Phantom rider, a realised it's a girl! Since I was lost looking for Tanarthur's house, I go and ask her for directions at the next red light, and HEY!!! She was the female Phantom rider that I met riding without brake lights and couple of years back at Upper Thomson!!! She told me she also don't know how to go to the block, because she is not from here, and I almost said, "Yes I know!"

 

But the lights turned green and we had to move off, so didn't get to talk to her anymore....

 

Awww.. dun worry bro, you'll meet her a couple years later.

IDIOT driver minor road turn to major road can wide turning til go into outer lane.. thereafter gotta signal left to turn back into left lane, blocking everybody.

 

blardee truck driver lane splitting on a perfectly clear 2 lane road, all the traffic behind LL suck thumb.

 

wanna overtake him also dunno he wanna go left or right.

last night while riding on Commonwealth Drive, saw the three "circus brothers" that made me shook my head.

 

apparently, one of the malaysian kupchai broke down, so he held on to his friend with ONE ARM and ONE LEG hooking on his friend's bike which is riding on the side WHILE he himself riding on his kupchai. a 3rd rider was riding behind as an escort. can't imagine what and how are they going to go on the highway,... and the F1-style Malaysian custom circuit if they were entering JB. very irresponsible of them.

today while riding, on the way from ECP exiting to bedok and coming to the traffic light where u turn left to marine parade and forward to bedok I encountered this punk driver who kept changing beam on me even while im stationary before junction. Throttled out of his insolent behavior and went on my way. shrugs.

That kind of stunt is only possible with a very light bike and even so it's fraught with risks, and takes fair bit of skill and trust between them. Sudden moves from the "tow bike" and that's it! Wish you had a mounted camera lol.

That's how the Pasir Gudang track workers bring me and my little Y125Z back to the pits when it seizes its engine on the track.

 

Or else its a long way to push a broken down bike back to the pits, in full leathers.

 

Now you may say they are irresponsible.. but you might not say the same if your bike broke down in the middle of NSH and this was the only to move your bike to the nearest town.

As there is a small drizzle in the morning, I decided not to wear raincoat and ride to work as it is not that far from my hse.

 

However I need to pass by a school on my way there and it was really jammed up and i have no space to squeeze as it is a small road. OMG! Don know how long i got stuck there.

 

When i reach my workplace, I was v wet.....omg!
