I am the uncle rider who stays at my own lane n ride at speed limits. at expressway I keep to most left but ppl will try over take me n come close to my right n once i have even hit the left mirror of the car which caused me to wobble n almost fall n that guy even hit n run without assisting me as i wobble till road shoulder n stop n most will push me to left n I have to horn after that experience is it wrong to stay at 60-70 while I am at most left lane? pardon me for riding at such speed as I ride a very small cc bike n I cannot go up till 80.

On the expressway won't it be too dangerous if we are doing 60-70 while others are doing 100?yes I know your circumstances of the bike not able to go up to 80. But when others are driving or riding at highway speeds, and suddenly a much slower moving vehicle is on the road. Won't it post a threat in the form of a slower moving vehicle where others may accidentally rear end it? Not trying to pull in who's right who's wrong, it's about who's going to get hurt..

True. It is also dangerous for the one not speeding. Just to share. I have a friend who was once rammed off the expressway by a lorry when he was travelling at 80km/h at the most left lane. He was running in his new bike then. Woke up in the hospital with some abrasions. Thankfully he is still in one piece and now riding a class 2 bike.

Today while riding... overestimated my rear tire.... should have changed it already...

 

didn't really realise that my car park concrete ground was so slippery due to this early morning's rain... which I didn't realise too... lost control of my rear and skidded while i was doing 30 km/h approaching slope...

 

scratched my right side at the same places where the previous owner scratched his... sigh... have to spend money to repair liao... haiz...

There are tons of slow moving vehicles on the expressway.. or supposed to be..

 

Vans/Big ass lorries/SAF landrover & tonners... They are all supposed to be driving at 50/60/70/80

Anyway fast vehicle should just be at lane 1-2.. I doubt they will bother with lane 1 unless they are retarded.. So many slow moving vehicles clogging up lane 3.. Even some slow moving vehicle couldn't take it and hogged lane 2 instead @ 70km/h -.-

I too belive riding too slow is a hazard too.

Nicely said brother! Haha! No nd until class 2. Any bike dat can maintain 80-90 (actual speed) i tink gd enuf alr. And i agree wif those heavy vehicles diving super fast. Hate riding d stretch from KJE to PIE. Basket lorries doing like over 100 i tink. Got see those ahpeks bike shaking wen they get passed. Worried for them.

@ticks/duo. I find e concept of being "accidently rear ended" becoz of slower spd will apply even if we r riding fast. Becoz if a road user didn't c u, it isnt becoz we r slow or fast. It is becoz we r smaller vehicle size thus they didnt c us. of coz slower = more chances for other vehicles to catch thus accident rear end. Higher spd also lower chance since when pple r spding, e attention and focus will be higher.

 

But still i also agree can rider faster safer. At least 90 which is e eway limit. But still no matter e spd still ve chance to tio.

To me I don't follow the speed limits that the sign says. I follow whatever average speed the other road users are going.

 

I think it's safer where everybody at one instance move at the roughly same speed than theres one bugger doing exceptionally different speed to the relative speed that the majority are doing.

Yesterday night ECP Ferrari racing again. Screw those drivers. Was riding with friends, i was at 3rd lane and friend was at 2nd lane near MBS that bend I saw 2 ferrari overtake him from right and 1 from left and he was with pillion. Somemore 1 came in from my blindspot to cut me. Stupid rich ferrari drivers, damn i didn't had my video cam on.

ytd night while riding,

 

was on BKE towards SLE and travelling at lane 2, got this SMRT bus signal and straight away lane change from lane 3 to lane 2 just to SLOWLY overtake another SMRT bus that is travelling slower and he caused many other road users to do a hard braking.

While at YCK rd towards buangkok green.. 1st time saw TP setting up speed cam by the road side over there.. Once at hougang .. The famous overhead bridge also activated ..

i didnt wan to note the plate number , as i was jus busy eating my ice cream and smoking when waiting for my friend to pump her car . it was basically like seeing who can pump longer jus that one is bike and one is car.

 

humm next time if i do see , maybe can start taking video ..
