just saw the aftermath of a R6 that got sideswiped by a BMW just outside UE square.

whole bike flew up the grass patch and ate mud but damages seem minimal.

didnt see the rider around so i suppose he got ferried off to the hospital already

hope the rider is alright

u need to be young and reckless to become old and wise..... if u survive

Just checked it out, saw a pic on the site of a guy mounting it under the chinguard of his agv k3, instantly roflmao cos it's a hilarious sight! Will check out more reviews of the product first. Thinking of mounting it in the windshield of my SP.

Thanks for sharing!

i mounted it on top of my helmet cuz the camera with the waterproof casing is too big to fit into the space in between the windshield and dashboard of my bike

I think there will be lots of vibration on the windshield, so your video will be very shaky?

even the video is already quite shaky when i mount the camera on top of my helmet. if mount on the bike, i think it will be worse

Upper Bukit Timah eh? the construction there cause alot of problems, roads are also very narrow.

Better get your horn fixed asap, upgrade to Hella even. But still defensive riding is the best protection cause some drivers even if horn or flash will still not give a damn about you.

yes, upper bt timah road. the roads there too messy cuz they keep diverting every 3-6 mths due to construction of mrt. my fren ask me to install the Hella Super Tone horn

Some people treat bikers as insects on the road. Can do with or without. Nice helmet btw... Icon eh?

yup, it's an Icon helmet

To do that, means you have to stick the stand on the helmet, then the cam attaches to the stand via a secure clip-on mechanism? The stand attaches to helmet by adhesive? Sorry if i'm asking a lot of questions. Hahahaha...

Morning rush makes people very inconsiderate. Got pushed from a black nissan driver this morning at Paya Lebar Rd, honked hard and pointed at him. Raised the hand to mean "sorry" but still it gave a heart beat over the top. It still comes down to us watching out for ourself coz drivers either can't bother or too stressed to see around. It boils down to consider every road user like possible hazard even though they might not mean it. Ride safe and enjoy!

I just love the looks, feel and sound of an old good Guzzi, though it has been around since the time of my Grandfather. I guess "they" don't do things like that anymore! Well it's not true.

"They" still do URALS

i dun mind if he cuts a little bit into my lane while cornering. i will just take it that he is afraid of scratching his car against the concrete barrier. what he did in the video was way too much, it seems as though he is treating that corner like a race track, cutting from the outer lane to the inner lane then back to the outer lane again

I think that falls under inconsiderate driving. Submit ut ti the proper authorities and include this link to them. http://www.spf.gov.sg/abtspf/tp/inconsiderate_driving.htm

Had 2 encounters last night. Encountered a driver who could not keep to his lane while travelling on a straight road. Kept cutting into half of the lane I am travelling at. So I just kept pressing the horn repeatedly until he backed off. :D

The next is approached a junction and already crossed the white line so meaning I am already in the yellow box and the light then turned amber. I am sure all of us would just throttle away. However a driver of a SUV waiting for the green arrow just happily made the right turn. If I had not been so alert sure collision already. Managed to stop safely inches away from the SUV. I am very sure the other motorists around was already expecting a collision. Too bad I did not have my cam with me. Misplaced it somewhere. Otherwise that would make quite an exciting clip to share.

Kids these days... only care abt their mobile phones...

If she's knocked down, I bet you this. She wouldn't even know that.

Agreed, can anyone do anything about tat, nobody cos the Police wouldn't be bothered as well, no injuries no accident no offence.

All waiting till something to happen then retify, no preventive measures.

Dunno what kids are learning in school nowadays, no road safety lessons for them?

hate these kind of riders who just cut into a queue of riders lane-splitting...

forgot to share what happened to me few days back

it was drizzling and i was lane splitting, like the above video, a rider riding a sym scooter just came out abruptly, he came out too close infront of me and i didn't want to jam brake cause i know a self skid will follow, so i ended up kissing him while both of us was moving. he knew he was in the wrong and he scooted away while i had to check the vehicle next to me for damage. luckily the vehicle was fine else i would really have chase the bugger down without fail.

gosh, why didn't he check blind spot or even signal.

Rainy day, full of cars, bloody drivers who signal while I'm in lane and force me out because they were stupid enough to be greedy and go in any free lane, only to realise it was a turn left or right lane, fockin idiots. What I do is simple, I'll rev at them, still like attempt to force me out, I'll simply swerve in front and ride damn slow. So many drivers who are unfit to drive these days, somemore in the comfort of your metal shell, safe and dry still so impatient. _|_

Many of these drivers never experienced the discomforts and challenges riders go thru, especially high milege riders ride in the rain too much and fatigue. Thats why riders who tajke up driving generally make better drivers and more considerate drivers. Those silver spoon drivers parents buy car for them... or those first vehicle otr is car, u want them to understand bikers can tang gu gu

P-plate should be an attitude to safety and riding. There's always more to learn.

Agree, once we ride then drive, we know how riders behave. Talking about silver spoon, P plate, new car and nice car plate, going second lane infront of me keep jamming brake. When i overtake the car, there was for sure more than 2 car space. It was a female driver. I had no idea how she get her licence.

Many times when i pillon someone, idiots will tailgater me. They don't know that car has 4 brakes will my bike only have 2. Somemore we use more of front brake unless wanna shake the tail, so of couse my braking and following distance increase but these drivers never give chance one, always wanna push you away.

Few days back, i pillon someone and it was wet weather, first and third lane had cars slowing down, i was at second lane along hougang ave 3, i was doing 50km/h because there was heavy vehicle infront. Suddenly taxi from left came in, so naturally you wanna slow down and move towards right, so now from right came in just after taxi, phew i had to slow down more to split lane at left. remember i had pillon with wet weather...if i was dreaming abit...thats it liao.

I try find if got video not....

Drivers with no riding experience seems to not know that the space we leave in front is for us to safely brake in case the goondu driver in front decides to suddenly stop. Hence why they always cut in front of us. They totally have no clue that we have a longer safe braking distance.

Its not that you are not visible. High chance is the driver could not be bothered to check or knows that you would back off so how bright and visible you are does not help much. I experienced something similar years ago. My left hand was able to reach and bang hard on the van and I did not even have to stretch out. The driver then swerved back in his lane. I however do not encourage anyone to do likewise.

No surprise with van drivers, they have an impatient streak. Yesterday while I was a pillion on my own bike, in the heavy downpour, the bike decides to die because the engine was still cold, I got off and my friend pushed the bike to the side, then got this stupid North Indian aneh and his civic decides to keep horning at us because we were in his lane.

Clearly the bike was having problems but the aneh keep horning, the horning got the a point where I got irritated and gave the fcuker a finger, then my friend gave him the finger, the stupid aneh not happy also gave us a finger, not happy but too scared to come out of his car, I don't understand, all horn no show.

I'm the one soaking wet and carrying a number of stuff and he's the one pissed off?

Drivers feel safe in their cages hence why they dare to provoke others while in their cage. Cannot say the same when they are not in their cages.

Hahaha, you bang the van so hard till dent better, he will have thought he hit your motorcycle and it was his fault. In future, recommend to the motorcycle makers to have hammers on all side of the bike. You hit me from left, my left hammer comes out! see who dares to cut me. LOL

Everyone just misuse the horn only, horn was use to create presence but people use for road rage. Furthermore your bike broke down, Singapore too many fked up drivers already. Yesterday took taxi back home with family, his turning fk cui. People turn smooth angle, his is go straight then last sec sharp turn, many times wanna hit other cars beside. After we alight near bus stop, he didn't check blindspot before moving off and almost hit a motorcyclist. The motorcyclist P plate horned loud loud, i bet he over shock already. I think taxi drivers that are older have to retire, their reaction time slow already. Now i don't dare to take taxi with old drivers.

cannot mount w/o the stand. because the stand is the 1 with the quick-release buckle that is suppose to attach/detach from the curve mount pasted on my helmet. w/o the stand also cannot link to the waterproof casing that is holding the camera

I saw one YouTube biker cut out his Full Face helmet chin guard to put his Go Pro Hero in, without the waterproof casing.

He really cut a rectangle into the mouth area from the inside and drill out a hole for the lens then attached a waterproof button to access the on/off button from the outside. Then use rubber band to stop it from falling out from the inside, even though if the camera were to fall out, it would be stopped by the user's mouth.

But I won't be doing it like that for my set, the helmet cut here cut there, if during accident really kena onto the floor, don't think will have enough material left to withstand the impact to the chin area.

Motorcyclist are the nicest people on the road, try not to kill us.
