help help guys!

recently i tried to start my bike but cant, only sometimes it works. 1/5 times works the rest of the time i push start my bike( and sometimes hard to find a safe place to push start)

so i went to a bike shop, change eo, air filter and spark plug. the problem still remains!

the guy open up my seat checked my batt voltage when its running in idling with lights on, the reading was about 14-15V and the guy say my batt cant hold charge n all.

how do i rectify the prob? change batt? the guy say change batt no point must change the wiring, some coil and rectifier all at the same time. total:200++++++

HELP! anyone encountered this prob?

Yo dude all bikes give problem, so don't panick. If one mech tells you to change this and that be sure that he is most probably bullsh#@$ng coz a TA 200 is barely 4-5 years old, and wires don't corrode so easily. Changing EO and filter when bike has a hard start is another bullsh$%#t from that mech coz' the main power source is the battery. He should have checked that first. If you can't do the battery yourself than go for a second opinion. Personally I trust Planet at Ubi, AK at Eunus.

As I understand if the Batt can't hold charge then the batt has reached its lifespan, it means expire so just changing it would do. Forget these kind of mechs coz he might ask to change the seat too.:dot:

All the best

Hey replay, if ur gonna do that......do it with me. Im also thinking of wiring my stock horn to an additional switch.

I want to see the world and i'm pretty sure the world wants to show a little something to me.

Hi all,

Just got the bike for 1 week, 2nd hand one...

After riding, I always hear the "tink tink" sound from or around the exhaust pipe.

Is that normal?

:giddy: thanks in advance...

Yes. It's the exhaust pipe cooling down.

Please take time to search the forums for such questions first, the question is repeatedly repeated :)

I have the best signature.

Quiertus you can also vacuum if it's not too old. The TA manual says that clean after 4 months and replace after 8.

Dust and humidity do make it to deteoriate faster, but the cost is pretty low 18$ for honda original 10$ for compatible.

Cheers

Hi guys, i had searched thru e forum, but din found any topic on slight power lose, so i decided to post... hehe..

i went to ah koon for full servicing yesterday. After i left, when i travelled above 60km/hrs, there were moments when my bike will lose some power n i had to trottle more. I only encountered tis problem after e servicing. Is it become of e tuning of my cab? if yes, how do i tune my cab n wat do i hav to take note?? i did notice my accleration become better.

i be working for nxt few days, so i hav no time to go to look for ah koon liao.. i went to a nearby mech, changed e air filter as mentioned, but still e same.. e mech don1 to meddle with my cab!!

hope some1 cn provide some solutions.. thy..

Loss of power might be due to petrol and ignition.

Ussually we feel los of power when forgeting to turn on the fuelcock, which is not the case here. I suspect the carb needs cleaning, but as to why soon after Koon is funny! More cases coming as I see. One more case against that is.

Ask koon and sugest to him to clean the carbureator. Don't give in to changing parts so easily. The filter does affect performance but is not "lifethreatening" to the bike

he tune to "pickup" instead of "top end" tuning for you maybe? thats why acceleration is good..backfiring occur? could be too rich..
