MacDelivery is pays reasonably for part-timers. But seems like they sub the recruitment to 3rd party outsider. I love to hang out at the Mac opp my house and those dispatch at the outlet there really a disgrace to the service level of Mac.

- the shabby attire (heard its not the same as compare to other dispatch working at city area)

- taking up the WHOLE smoking area outside Mac and those customer who smoke have nowhere to sit

- mess up the area with lots of chairs and hence the poor cleaner (70+ uncle) have to clear up their mess everyday

- drag their noisy 2 stroke bike in the neighbourhood and horn for nothing in the middle of the night

Feels that Mac should 'upsize' the image and service level of these dispatch rider.

Good luck on that.

McDonalds are cheap ******** off to pull as much profits as possible.

The 12pm-2pm $4.50/$5.00 deals sounds good right? Grab it as soon as possible, as by the end of the fasting month, the deal is off.

Ask a crew how much he is paid per hour. Ever wonder why McDonalds have to import so many foreigners to work as the crew? And they expect so much from the crew no less. Standing at the supply base for hours on end, Happily standing at the counter for hours on end enduring abuse from customers? Have to keep on your feet for hours on end cleaning up the mess of other people? The simple task of returning the trays is so difficult for the ungracious, lazy and boliao singaporeans. It takes the foreigners to show some tact and grace, greeting the counter staff cheerfully and returning their own trays from their spotless tables. Ever seen a Singaporean do that?

For the riders, I am not sure if you noticed it or not, but the standard attire for the riders are to have their shirts untucked.

The mess, I will have to agree. Its not going to be nice to be sitting in your own mess.

Regarding the smoking area, I would assume that they only have two tables for smoking customers? Perhaps you can give feedback to management, telling them they can only sit on the pavement and trip up other customers while they smoke.

The riders have to deal with alot of crap from customers, till they dont really give a crap about what they think. Too many customers like to complain for the sake of getting freebies anyway (again, a singaporean mentality). Its a lose lose situation for us, since some smart moron coined the term "the customer is always right".

Before you find fault with anyone else, perhaps you should have a look at yourself. "The customer is always right, of course, but an ******* is still an *******."

we in the service industry, who encounter customers like you, have our patience tried far too many times to give a crap.

Allow me to open up this discussion.

At Kentucky fried chicken, a whole chicken is devided into 9 pieces. 2 thighs, 2 ribs, 2 wings, 2 drums and one keel (or breast, if you prefer to call it that).

Day in and day out customers will request for the three bigger parts, and request for none of the smaller parts (wings and drums).

While every effort was spent to give the customer his request, no matter how greedy and selfish it may be (a family bucket of 8 pieces, all thighs for example), there may be instances where the request cannot be met.

In fact, it is explicitly mentioned that choice of chicken parts are SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY.

Yet we have customers who demand that their request MUST be met. If the request is not met, they complain. Typical Singaporean mentality.

In McDonalds, the french fries are strangely popular.

A batch of fries spends about 3 minutes in the fat fryer before it is ready. Procedure dictates that the fries are discarded after 7 minutes to ensure that the customer will not be getting soggy, or stale fries. it takes around 10 minutes or so in the open before the fries get limp.

it takes about 30 minutes for a rider to reach tuas power station, at Tuas South Avenue 9. Enclosed in a thermal bag, the fries get soggy fast. Knowing fully well that it takes some time to reach his location, the customer still complains that his fries are soggy. Again, stereotypical singaporean behavior.

Again about McDonalds. Riders want to smoke. Thus they chose to sit themselves at the smoking tables. A customer wants to sit down for a cigarette as well, but doesnt have the courtesy to ask them to move. Instead, she decides to complain. What do you think this is? I believe its called "Stereotypical Singaporean Behavior"?

So whats wrong with us complaining as well? Everyone else is doing it. Hey, we are Singaporeans too. Why cant we complain?

Or is it because only customers reserve the right to complain? Because they are always right, and we, the service industry, having to bend over backwards for you customers who are always right, are always in the wrong?

We, who always have to clean up the mess that you people will not dare to make in your own homes, because there will always be minimum wage crews to clean up the mess that you made? clear the trays that you will never return? utter the "Thank-yous" that will never be returned with a "Your welcome"?

You people, who lack basic graciousness, dare to complain about our service standards?

oh wait. i forgot. you, the customers who are always right, reserve the right to complain.

please carry on complaining! you have the right to, after all. we in the service line dont, after all.

I worked before 1 day and I quit because I was holding a perm night job and it was too tiring for me to ride.

Anyway, I quite interested to work now.

How is the current latest rate like?

Best if AMK or TPY or Bishan area.

Btw, how do u deal with it when raining? Still deliver or not allowed to deliver?
