then put the tyre half way, squeeze in the tube, then put the tyre prperly

then pump in air, then whack here whack there to even out the pump........

hm...tink there's already an existing rubber inside

but heard abt this other rubber that can somehow enable tubeless tyres to be fitted w/o inner tube

so i guess the product isnt that really common after all...

Hi everyone,

Newbie here and I've got some quick questions.

1) WaveS sports rims able to fit onto WaveR? I heard from some ppl saying able to fit, but might have some issues. is it??

2) Likewise, WaveR rims able to fit back to WaveS? Able to fit but is there going to be potential problems?

Thanks in advance everyone.

Wave R And Wave S front sport rims are not interchangable....

Reason : Speedo cable reader gearing which is located in the front hub.

Cheers !

Thank you Mr. Thai R. At least you bothered to respond. Dunno why bother to set up this "Wave Riders" section where everybody just wants to chit chat and talk about other things. Might as well just share the main Cubs' sub-forum.

I think Bro Thai_R meant that the speedo cable is found on WaveR, not S. S is using some other sensors.

Wave-S do not use any cable. They use the sensor to detect your speed.

Think sensor is better than cable because cable is mechanical got movement. Sure slow down a bit than sensor. Juz my opinion.....

i wouldn't know....

I guess readings from the wheel will be affected by the size of rims and also the tyre size.....

Maybe the Wave S which reads from the engine(i think) maybe is more acurate cuz the readings dun get affected by tyre sizes and width....

Anyone with a better answer or explantion ?

just my personal views i think actually cable is better than sensor as sensor is not very accurate as i ride on my wave S my speedo is very weird cos my pickup speed shown on my speedo like hits 0-30 in less than 5secs i dun think my wave is so fast...

never really ride wave R so much but in comparison wave R speedo in terms of pick up like more realistic...

anyway got some suggestion for the sports rim after i tabluate before i changed mine last time 3 spokes are not very safe in compare to 5/6 spokes

and feed back from my friends and mechanic they says that the racing boy rim tends to spoil ur bearing easily due to the manufacture faults my mechanic even tell me dat if i wan he can give me a set free but if anything happen dun go back to find him cos he had seen many many examples

i heard the feed back on the y spoke sports rim is not bad... but i dun like the disc brake cos the disc brake is special wan with a very big hole in the centre i find it ugly thus never changed it

pricing wise in sg all i checked are going for 190 (+-) inclusive of tyre (TT900)

hope the informations helps
